    Description

    This is my Profile for Aerosoft Frankfurt

    The whole Airport is complete with the features you can find below.

    This profile is made for the Payware by Aerosoft found >>>here<<<
    This profile also comes with the Scenery package, but you’ll always find the latest version here. We can push updates to fs.to more quickly

    Important 

    To avoid overlapping VDGS, use either the Aerosoft VDGS or the GSX VDGS, but not both. To disable the Aerosoft VDGS, simply turn it off in the configuration settings or the .bgl under aerosoft-airport-eddf-frankfurt\scenery\EDDF_VDGS\

    What's included?

    ->          Custom vehicle placement

    ->          Custom pushback positioning and naming

    ->          VDGS placement where it is needed

    ->          Custom De-Ice pads

    ->          custom jetway root floorheights where needed

    ->          custom stop positions per aircraft type at every stand

    ->           custom sorting of Gates and Stands 

    How to install

    You will find four subfolders:

    - Full Variant: Includes walking passengers.
    - LITE Variant: Does not include walking passengers (better for performance).
    Each variant is available in two versions:

    Aerosoft VDGS
    GSX VDGS


    Important: If you are using the GSX VDGS, make sure to disable the Aerosoft VDGS in the configuration settings.

    Installation Instructions:


    Place the provided .ini and .py files into %appdata%/virtuali/GSX/MSFS.
    Ensure that only one version of the EDDF-Aerosoft.ini and eddf-aerosoft.py file is installed.


    Setup Guide – VATSIM CID / ONLY WORKS WITH GSX VDGS!

    Option 1 (Recommended)

    1. Load into Frankfurt (EDDF)
    2. A setup window will automatically open on first use
    3. Enter your VATSIM CID
    4. Confirm → Done

    Option 2 (Manual Setup)

    1. Open the file: 
      EDDF-Aerosoft_handler.py

    2. Locate the CID setting

    3. Enter your VATSIM CID manually
    4. Save the file

    Hello,
    Thank you so much for this profile.

    I'm using the full GSX VDGS and I've noticed that the display is only partially displayed (look screen).

    Note: I deleted Y:\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Community\Apt_DEU-EDDF-Frankfurt from Aerosoft-1.1.2\scenery\EDDF_VDGS\sceneryEDDF_aerosoft_VDGS_Modellib.BGL
    Do you have any ideas?

    Usuually by pressing "Restart GSX" it resolves itself. But I assume you did that already?

    Thank you for your advice.

    I tried the following: 1/ restarting GSX, 2/ exiting MFSF and restarting MSFS, 3/ switching to Simbrief flight mode, and I still have the same display.
    Note: the parking guidance display is perfect.
    If someone could verify this, it would allow me to report it to GSX.

    VDGS is not working

    VDGS is installed and enabled (Aerosoft VDGS Boxes ON), dependencies installed, GSX VDGS disabled, but Aerosoft VDGS does not activate at any gate. GSX VDGS works normally.

    Hi there, with the latest version I wanted to get to gate A34 (738), but GSX kept switching me to A36. Tried three times, I can choose A34 but GSX stays on A36. Disabling GSX and activating it again when stopped at A34, made GSX giving me service on A34 finaly.

    This is a GSX Bug in 3.9.0. The version number hasn't changed but they've published several hotfixes. Please select check in you FSDT Installer and it should work again.

    I already downloaded the 'update'. Now I have to see, when getting into Frankfurt again. I also wondered if this was actually a GSX bug, regarding the changes with MARS. But I wasn't sure since I also updated your latest profile recently.

    At some XX-A and XX-B gates the jetways don't work! E.g. A52B -> Jetway does not dock

    Unfortunately GSX only triggers the jetway animation, and the jetways themselves are fully handled by MSFS. This isn’t something a GSX profile can fix; most likely Aerosoft would need to address it, or Asobo would have to overhaul the entire jetway system. I hope you’ll reconsider the 4-star review.

    Hey, since the new version, as you can see in the picture, the parking system is showing a marshaller at every building position. I think something's wrong there. I have the latest version of GSX installed, along with “FULL - GSX VDGS.” I also tried it with “FULL - Aerosoft VDGS,” but had the same problem there.
