For those willing to change the registration font color all you need to do is to add a custom panel including a panel.cfg with the following content (to set both interior and exterior registration tags white for instance):

[VPainting01]
size_mm = 2048,512
texture = RegistrationNumber
location = exterior
painting00=Registration/Registration.html?font_color=white, 0, 0, 2048, 512
[VPainting02]

Don´t forget to update the livery´s aircraft.cfg to point to that custom panel.
