    Description

    This is a repaint package for the TFDi Design MD-11 in colours American Airlines. 

    The following registrations are included:

    clean version: N1750B, N1751A, N1752K, N1753, N1754, N1755,

    mid dirty version: N1756, N1757A, N1758B, N1759, N1760A, N1761R, N1762B,

    dirty version: N1763, N1764B, N1765B, N1766A, N1767A, N1768D

     

    To reduce file size I have added a 'livery' called 'American Commons'

    In MSFS 2020 it doesn't show up in the sim menu intentionally.

    In MSFS 2024 it shows up and can be used as N1750B.

    Installation via Drag and Drop:

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Insert the folder 'tfdidesign-md11-aal-commons' and at least one of the registration folders e.g. 'tfdidesign-md11-aal-n1758b' into your community folder
    3: Start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!
    4: Leave the 'American Commons' installed as long as you use this pack, as shared textures are stored there needed for all liveries of this package.

    By the way, every single texture is pink. Even the windows.

    Use the correct version. 2020 won't in 2024 and vice versa, check you are using the latest MD-11. My liveries won't work with the old version.

    Went through all of them, I can't find anything wrong, cabin is loading for each of them. Could you send a screenshot of the cabin you see via PM so I try to get behind the issue you are experiencing?

    Almost 3 GB for a livery is still wild. Must be some way of making it a tiny bit smaller?

    It's not one livery, there are 19! I am already using my file saving way with the commons folder to reduce it as much as I can. There are quite a few files for the cabin, and each registration needs 2 extra files for the bare metal to work which wouldn't be necessary normally. You can download, extract and then delete the download files + the registrations you don't want to use.

    19 aircrafts with 8K textures + each with a custom metallic layer, so one is already 260 MB large only with the fuselage parts, and I haven't mentioned the 90+ files for the cabin, that file sizes is quite normal here.

    This looks awesome but only the nose loads! After the release on the second it appears to have stopped working. Hoppefully it can be worked on just thought id give a heads up!

    They show up for me, all of them are GE variants so they should work. Make sure you`ve got the tfdidesign-aircraft-md11-american-commons in your Community folder. If still doesn't work, could you send me a picture of the livery in your sim via PM?
