    LMML - Malta International Airport - Malta (Early Access) - Image 1

    Description

    This is the initial release of LMML for MSFS and is still an Early Access. A lot more work is being done and is yet to be published.

     

    This is based on the latest Google Maps imagery.

     

    This release currently contains:

    • Totally new Aprons with most of ground paintings done
    • Apron Lights on Apron 9
    • Correct parking names and place
    • Runways with ILS
    • Enlarged taxiway L
    • Different ATC tower
    • Correct frequencies
    • Adds tunnel and parking terraforming
    • Fully custom painted lines

     

    I have released this so that I can get feedback on it and resolve any issues.

    You can keep track of the progress on my GitHub Projects page.

    Any issues with the scenery I would prefer to have them listed on the GitHub Issues page.

    You can either download the ZIP file from here or from my GitHub Releases page.

    A GSX profile will follow suit soon.

    Just unzip and put in your community folder.

     

    Feel free to join my Discord and discuss stuff there too.

     

    Do not forget, if you like my scenery and have a bit of change to spare a donation would be appreciated. This unfortunately is a 1 man show and thus it is hard to keep up with both life and MSFS.

    Should LMML-vikingstudios-malta.ini be in the community root folder (D:\MSFS\Community for me), or in a subfolder of vikingstudios-airport-lmml-malta?

    The .ini file is the GSX Profile. If you do not have GSX you do not need it. If you do have GSX you need to put it with the rest of your GSX profles

    This scenery is no good if you fly on Vatsim connected taxiway T is completely missing.

    Is this still being worked on?
    JustSim's offering is outdated now, missing the new ramp and connected taxiway T, would love an up to date MLA (for 20, screw 24)

    That is quite good for a very early release. I like the runway textures, more true to life. I have the justsim version, how can I have their terminal with your runway?

    Hmmm, I will think of what I can do, but will probably have to be a separate file, as it is currently it wont work as they will conflict but I will check

    vikingpro that would be great, as a temp measure until you build the terminal. I like your parking aprons as well, I believe the secondary runway at LMML 05/23 has only recently just been resurfaced so your textures on it are much more true to life. thank you

    So a really nice photogrammetry add-on was just released for Malta, but alas, the terraforming you did doesn't coexist with it. Be cool if y'all can figure out a way to make them coexist as you build this one out! https://flightsim.to/file/78920/malta-island
