    WT3X (Working Title's G3X) Replacement for the Icon A5 - Image 1

    Description

    This is a project aimed to replace the defaulr Garmin Aera with the new WT G3X from SU-15.

    This is compatible with SU-15 BETA builds and will be compatible with the finalrelease as well.

    Now with autopilot enabled, you can find it on the G3X menu.

    Now compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (Uses the G3X V2, making it compatible with the new additions such as charts and EFB compatibility), make sure to download the correct sim version.

    Use it at your own risk and happy flights.

    in FS2024 how to get the GPS (not seem to be enabled not "green" how to activate the autopilot/GPS function? Is there a cheat sheet or note for how this works? Thhanks

    Not bad, but I recommend this one instead for MSFS 2020: https://flightsim.to/addon/6806/icon-a5-high-performance-mod.
    It offers more autopilot features for the Icon A5.

    I use the “No engine upgrade” option so it only provides the G3X upgrade.

    It's all good, thanks for the review, my objective with this mod is just to adapt the Garmin G3X on the Icon A5 while keeping the airplane as default as possible, with some small upgrades like the autopilot...

    This now works great in MSFS2024 except it shows alternator warning in the PFD section of the G3X. All that being said, Thank you for this great and much wanted add on

    First of all, this is is a wonderful addition to my private A5.
    However... In the GPS options in the fuel unit selection, when choosing weight (lbs or kg) instead of volume (gal or l), the conversion is wrong. Instead of using 6.0lb/gal as it should for Avgas, it's using the Jet A1 density of 6.7lb/gal, which, if using the units as weight, it shows a higher fuel quantity than it actually has.

    Looks like there's a problem with the avionic itself, they logged the issue...

    I would bet it was an issue with the avionic itself, but I wanted to be sure.

    Not sure why, but nothing displays on the screen when I have this mod enabled. Do I need another mod to get it working?

    Are you on the SU-15 Beta??? This mod needs the new WT G3X from SU-15... It works fine on the Beta but won't show anything on any version below...

    Oh man, I can't believe I just assumed I was running the SU15 version, sorry about that. I'm not sure how to get the SU15 beta and may just wait for the final release. Looking forward to using this mod!

    Hi - I get a blank screen on the Garmin. I uninstalled and redownloaded the plane using the games internal content manager (I had previously moded the default plane files to show the copilot, so I wanted to make sure that wasn't a conflict). Any suggestions?

    Not yet, but with enought requests I can add it... My personal one have autopilot working just fine, but the original aircraft doesn't have, that's why I kept it out...
