    TFFS Les Saintes (Guadeloupe) Windsock(s) quick & dirty fix for World Update 16 - Image 1

    Description

    Quick and Dirty fix for the duplicate and wrongly positionned windsocks at Les Saintes Terre De Haut (TFFS) from the World Update 16 by Gaya:

    • DELETE the default windsock at apron
    • DELETE the default + WU16 added windsocks at the wrong position at threshhold runway 09
    • ADD a Windsock at the correct position, runway 09 at the top of the small hill
    • (v1.1) Set the Windsock to the default red & white version (the french way)
    • (v1.1) Add a information/warning sign on the border fence threshold runway 09
    • (v1.1) Add a radio antenna to visualize the final approach path runway 09

    Requirement: World Update 15 and its Les Saintes TFFS scenery installed.

    Petit fix pour corriger les manches à air en double et mal positionnées dans la scène de l'aéroport Les Saintes Terre De Haut (TFFS) développé par Gaya pour le World Update 16.

    • Suppression de la manche à air par défaut au parking.
    • Supression de la manche à air par défaut et de la manche à air ajoutée au seuil de la piste 09... au mauvais endroit par le World Update 16.
    • Ajout - au bon endroit - sur la petite colinne au seuil 09 d'une la manche à air
    • (v1.1) Retour aux manches à air rouge et blanche à-la-française
    • (v1.1) Ajout d'un panneau sur la clôture au seuil 09
    • (v1.1) Ajout d'une antenne de télécommunication qui matérialise la finale décallée piste 09

    Bravo pour le travail. Il faut être agréé pour ce poser aux saintes. La piste est étroite, en pente (42ft en 09 et 9ft en 27 et en plus le vent impose souvent de se poser en 09. Comme normalement la piste est plus haute en 09, le haut de la cloture en 09 est plus bas que la hauteur de la piste.

    Look at the Visual Approach Chart (https://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/). It shows how to join the final path where you let the antenna on your direct right ;)

    Thanks! Also in reality the runway elevation is a few meters higher by RWY 09 threshold. There is a small slope in between the nearby houses and the fence which is not represented in MSFS

    Yep, I read this as well. But frankly speaking it's very fast to fix what's done with this mod and going into fixing the slope is another story and way off the objectif of this quick&dirty fix. What about using Zendesk and the official Microsoft MSFS forum to report the issue?

    j'ai aussi travailler sur un petit fix que j'utilise sur mon PC. Deux axes d'amélioration
    1 ) en réalité le seuil de la piste 09 est un petit peux plus élevée dans la réalité et la piste plus en pente

    J'ai rajouté l'antenne radio qui matérialise la bordure de l'axe finale décalée et aussi, pour le plaisir, le panneau sur la clôture au seuil de la 09. Et comme les manches à air de Gaya était personnalisée (entièrement rouge et plus petite), j'ai remis les manches à air rouge et blanche, standards de MSFS (et franco-française ;) ) qui colle mieux à la réalité.
