I have been working on RAF Shawbury as I know this airfield, while flying to and from RAF Mona which I used to work at it is an easier airfield to work with. I am still very new to all of this so any pointers please mention them in the comments. At the minute I am currently applying textures to the faces rather than building a UV map, as I still don’t understand Blender fully yet. This was the first video I saw that was the most complicated in comparison to others https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0uKPWn2p8Y this was also the easier way to apply textures so I hope this works for others some models are from the Sim library and the helicopters are in need of a paint.
I have used standard buildings apart from the SSR which I have built from Shawbury. I will be adding more as I slowly work through the modeling so please be patient.
RAF Mona is predominately an RLG for RAF Valley (Which I am in progress as well as Shawbury and Mona) here you have weekend and summer evening GA flying with Mona Flying Club. In the week it is used by the Hawk T2 and Texan aircraft for Circuit work as well as SRA's. The Airfield has minimal lighting so PAPIs and Runway lighting. (I would like to add distance to go marker boards but may take a little time)
The SSR is Animated and will be trying to get the remaining modelling sorted as soon as.
With the 23rd Jan UK update I hope to see the area updated with terrain as it is definitely not as flat as this.

So in this minor update, -Air Training Corps Building has been updated -DRDF near 22 threshold has been added -Barrier Nets (Not Operational as i have no idea if it is possible apart from animation) -Met Garden (Not high quality but will do) Question to all people that are using this Scenery, would you like the Runway caravan adding? if so would have to have one each end. There's much left to add any requests for Mona? I didn't want to add static aircraft and take up parking. Enjoy and any bugs please comment happy to fix asap. Safe flying.

sorry forgot to mention that the hanger placement over one of the ramps mean the ground crew are on the roof.
it was funny seeing the push back guy slide off the roof through the grass and down the hill though lol

coming from the tower turn right.
not sure if the hanger foot print if too near towards tower.
or it maybe the fact building is replaced and not a solid model
as sometimes pushback guy goes through and once on top!

I do fly North Wales a lot with OnAir. Last time i was at Llanbedr its terrible isnt it. I hope the UK update sorts out the terraforming because valley is lacking that at the minute.
