Piaggio P.149 German cockpit labeling - Image 1

    Description

This is a mod for the payware Piaggio P.149 / Focke-Wulf Piaggio FWP.149 by AT Simulations.

TIP: If you turn up the red cockpit lamp to max. 25%, only the cockpit labeling will light up at night.

    Installation:
Just drop the folder "raller_FWP149_german_labeling_mod" into your community folder

    Uninstall:
Just delete the folder "raller_FWP149_german_labeling_mod" from your community folder

Compatibility with current P149D version 2.15 tested and confirmed.

    Best wishes from Germany
    Raller

    Great work!
Maybe could you do a cleaner version too? I know this is an vintage plane, but It would be great if the whole cockpit looks newer and less worn.

I had actually thought that the current lettering already looks way too clean for this aged aircraft. I used some existing cockpit pictures as a guide.

    Unfortunatelly I can't paste pictures.
Few small details for the better explanations what what I mean.
    - There is may small scratches on the panels for instance between the "Pos. Lampen" and "Instrum Bel." switches.
    - The floor looks very very worn.
    - The frame of instruments (the altimeter, Radio Compass etc.) is not a clean black surface, there are many white / gray worns on it.
    - The magneto swicth looks also the same, and the M1+2 M2 labels are yellowed or paled.
    - The knob of the Mixture also seems rusty.
    - The interior leather cover seems very-very old and dirty.

Please don't misunderstand me, you did a great job, only I would like a less realistic but a much cleaner and less used interior look of the cockpit. If its possible.
    Thanks!

Ok I understand. But this is a completely different project with a lot of effort to rework all the cockpit textures.

Until the end of february i have lot of free time, If I can help somehow, just tell me what to do.
I don't have experience in PhotoShop, but I'm a mechanical engineer I worked with a few different 3D modelling CAM software, maybe I can help to clean the surfaceces or something like this, if I receive a short instruction from you. If you are interested in this project just let me know, do you need my e-mail address?

No thanks, I am not interested in doing a mod to modernize the cockpit.

What a pity!!! This plane would worth one a modernized cockpit, even if it will be a paid content!

Is there no logo at all on this position? Because ATSimulations has put a plate there.
