My first attempt at creating a GSX profile for an airport, in this case newly released and beautiful Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport by Drzewiecki Design.

For now, featuring:

• Realistic handling companies - LS Airport Services, Welcome Airport Services, Ferier Catering
• Configured stands 6-11 (Terminal T1), 20-28 (Terminal T2), 40-45 (Apron 3 remote)
• Walk-in gates for stands 20-28
• VDGS for gates 20-24 as in the real airport
• De-icing pad on apron 5
• Pushback routes onto taxiway A from stand 28 for 787
• Different routes for boarding and disembarking, including bus

In the near future, hopefully:

• Jetway compatibility for legacy carriers and stand 28 for 787
• Cargo stands
• More accurate pushback routes

For best results, disable the custom VDGS that comes with the scenery and disable GSX jetways in the installer.

Installation: 

Place the .ini file in %appdata%\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS

This is a walk-in configuration. This means that the jetways are not functional. If you want to use jetways, do not use this profile. This is because the vast majority of traffic at GDN is low cost airlines like Wizz Air and Ryanair, and they do not use jetways, instead using stairs.

Unfortunately due to GSX limitations, I can only set either a walk in gate, or a jetway gate, I cannot change between 2 types. This is of course unrealistic, as in the real world some airlines use jetways while others use stairs at the same stand.

It's worth noting that this profile is based on my own interpretation of how the airport could operate. I have used parking charts and my memory and photos as a passenger from GDN as reference 😅 If you have any references, videos of pushback routes etc please contact me!
