Description
The grass airfield Lichtenfels (EDQL) in northern bavaria/germany is located between Coburg and Bamberg and can be quite hard to spot if you don't know where to search (and if you don't have any helpers for POIs etc turned on of course). It is mainly used for gliders, however the local flying club has a DR400 which is mainly used for towing and a Cessna FR172.
The scenery is made with lots of custom objects. The aircraft have the original liveries and registrations. I made some other custom objetcs as well surrounding the airfield (churches, towers etc). Keep in mind though that I don't have so much experience with this yet so please don't expect any 4K PBR textures - no better don't...
I tried to recreate the famous mountain Staffelberg south of Lichtenfels as well and I think it turned out okayish.
Version 2.0:
New (better) textures
Awful looking Bing Maps ground texture has been concealed.
DR400 now longer "glowing" in the dark.
Few other fixes/improvements
It's no payware quality after all but maybe you still enjoy it though.
Apart from my own custom objects within the scenery I also used some objects of Mikea.at's Asset-Pack. So if you wanna see all the objects you need to have his file in the Community-Folder as well.

Installation is quite easy:
Simply unzip the downloaded file and put the folder "chrispiaviation-lichtenfels-edql" into your community folder.
