NEW UPDATED RUNWAY AND TAXIWAY FOR VELANA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The New Runway became operational by 6 October 2022, with a Boeing 777 operated by Emirates from Dubai, UAE, landing on the new Runway, with the existing runway being converted into a permanent taxiway, as TMA finished moving to the new seaplane terminal by August 2022. The old runway was closed by a departing Turkish Airlines Airbus A330 bound for Istanbul, Turkey. [29] The runway was developed by China's Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) at a cost of USD 452 million. With the operationalization of the new runway, the waiting time between landing flights will be decreased from 15 minutes to 3 minutes. The previous runway only accommodated 8 flights per hour. Meanwhile, the new runway can accommodate 21 flights per hour.[30]

The only thing I'd like to point out is that the parking "stop" bars are too close to terminal buildings and lights, but this is a very minor thing.

would be nice if the whole thing around it was a bit embellished and the underground texture was removed

I've got the same issue as others have mentioned, huge building in the runway. This is my first scenery package installed for VRMM, so not being caused by another addon.

Great scenery! I also got the big building popping into the middle of the runway. (Just downloaded the scenery a couple of hours ago).
I've never flown here before and this is the first scenery I've added to this airport. (Must be some default scenery that interferes with the addon scenery?)
As soon as this "bug" is fixed this scenery is fantastic!
(Will add the last 0,5 star when the building is gone) :-)

That issue was brought up by someone else too . please make sure to delete any previous addons you have for the airport and let me know . I did make an exclusion are for the runway on the latest update just in case

Hi. I downloaded this latest version and removed any previous versions. The big building is still showing up. I have no other mods in my community folder.

Thanks for the updated VRMM airport. However, a huge fire station scenery building (bug) appears at the midpoint area of the runway. Hope you can fix this. Thanks.

Will fix that bug with the next update with correct taxiway markings and gates
