    Description

    This adds a basic autopilot to the Microsoft Local Legends DHC-4 Caribou. You will either need to know the keyboard binds, have a control panel (like the paid PMS50 GTN750), or a hardware device to control the autopilot. There is no included control panel. 

    Confirmed to be working in FS2024 via user reports.

    Great work!

    I had seen your mod previously but didn't download it as I wasn't familiar with the PMS50. I ended up getting the free version recently and whilst it doesn't have the AP panel, I came back to look at this mod anyhow.

    Got it working with my Bravo throttle.

    Heading hold works great. Altitude hold and VS mode work. The Nav/following GPS seems a bit hit and miss. Only did one flight and haven't been able to work out it if there was something I was not doing.

    Still great none the less.

    i have the purchased PMS50 GTN750 for MSFS 2020. How do I get this to show up in the GPS? Is it on a different page within the GPS panel of the 750?

    This works fine for me in MSFS2024. Using keyboard shortcuts in external camera mode. Altitude hold, heading hold are fine.

    I use the Saitek Multi Panel for the ap, but since Beta Update 2 the mod works again.

    I love it makes flying the Caribou awesome but would love to see more other aircraft with the Autopilot as well

    Works great for me and thank you! This relativly large plane can be used now with "alt hold"
    and "hdg hold", that's all I need.

    I am very new in flight simulator. I did downloaded the autopilot and the gtn750( two items main mod 2.1 and gtn750 dhc-4) I put them into the community folder. When I open the airplane on the sim I do not get the autopilot !!!! I understood that I have also to bind with the keyboard but I do not understand what and how. Can you help me ? thanks

    To use the AP on the GTN mod it requires the paid version. You don't HAVE to use it as its mainly so you can tell what you have things set to, but I'm unaware of any free AP panels out there.
