Description
FAMET Colmenar Viejo (LECV), named Coronel Maté base, is the Spanish Army Helicopter Forces HQ located 30 km to the north of Madrid. This base is currently not existing in game. It´s the homebase of several helicopter units, including the iconic Chinooks from BHELTRA V, and a major logistics base. It´s also Army's helicopter school (ACAVIET) and includes a museum with several preserved units placed along the base.
Complete features list of the addon is the following:
* Accurate representation of base layout and its key areas, such as flight academy, museum and military vehicles parkings. Several preserved assets monuments included along the base. In real life base contains several helicopters, a jeep and an AA gun.
* Google satellite textures for the area (currently blurried in game).
* Complete apron, parking and FATO1 and FATO2 areas included with one TLOF (helipad) on each FATO, according to the latest airport charts. A, B and E taxiways are included too. All areas include lights and taxiway signs to ease ground movements.
* Sloped aprons and Chinooks hangar apron extension with hangar extra floor and access ramp.
* Open hangar with parking position inside.
* FATO1 (runway 04-22) has PAPI and approach lights for runway 03 and west TLOF only.
* FATO2 (runway 34-16) is indeed just the TLOF area and it includes PAPI and approach lights. Runway 16 is a really challenging downhill approach to be performed at low altitude and is full of obstacles near the landing area, such as the NDB and weather antennas.
* Fuel box and ground services included as well to take advantage of all game features. In real base they just use a fuel truck.
* Multiple small details added such as static helicopters, marshallers, working crews and decoration.
* Additional helipad and vehicles yard (which is currently a boneyard in real life) are included at nearby San Pedro Logistics base, which can be used for short hauls from or to Colmenar base.
Airport does not include any custom approach, as most operations are visual or are supported by nearby Colmenar VOR and NDB. You can find the official charts here: https://aip.enaire.es/AIP/#LECV
Note: due to periodic magnetic variations the runway markings have also changed over the past years. Addon reproduces the current runway assignment the real airport has as of today, using therefore runway 04-22 markings.
The addon requires official game content from several airport addons. Therefore you need to install the World Updates and the 40th anniversary content as well.

Hacía tiempo que andaba buscando una recreación de la base de las famet, y la has clavado! lo único es que la numeración de la pista está mal, actualmente la base cuenta con la pista 21 y 03

Gracias a vosotros por comentar y espero que os guste. Acabo de publicar Agoncillo (está pendiente de aprobación para descarga) y detrás viene El Copero, asi que hay FAMET para rato.... Lo de la pista es un tema que ya comenté con otro usuario en privado porque él me advirtió de que 03-21 que era la config original que yo puse estaba mal de hecho. Las cartas indican eso, pero debido a la variación magnética anual la numeración de las pistas cambia periódicamente. De hecho si ves los videos de los comentarios en uno de hace dos años se ve que al menos recientemente estaba numerada en 04-22. No he visitado la base actualmente, pero hay que tomar un criterio u otro porque si no lo tengo que actualizar cuando vuelva a cambiar y eso no es práctico

Gracias. Es terrible que no se incluyan muchas de las bases militares españolas. Solamente en Madrid faltan Colmenar, Torrejón y Getafe, por no mencionar que ninguno de los helipuertos existe tampoco. Es decir todo lo importante no está. Me alegra que te guste. A disfrutarlo.

Para actualizar la versión, hay que borrar en la carpeta de Comunity el archivo anterior y después descomprimir el nuevo? O no hace falta borrar el antiguo? Gracias

Si, hay que borrar la versión vieja siempre. De todos modos los archivos son los mismos hasta que no añada otros adicionales asi que se sobreescriben si no la borras

FAMET Agoncillo (LELO)
FAMET Agoncillo (LELO), named Héroes del Revellín base, is the Spanish Army Helicopter Forces base located next to Logroño airport. This base is currently not existing in game. Agoncillo is the homebase of BHELMA III, operating NH-90 "Caimán" helicopters which are some of the most recent additions to Spanish Army Forces. The base also holds the Guardia Civil helicopter that operates in the area. In order to ensure maximum compatibility with any other Logroño airport addons this addon covers only the military area and uses its own ICAO and radio frequencies according to latest available charts. The base itself is not very complex, however it´s layout is quite unique. It´s one of the oldest military fields in the country and the northernmost FAMET base. It´s located in an area surrounded by mountains, which results in a really attractive location for helicopter operations.

FAMET El Copero (LEEC)
FAMET El Copero (LEEC) is the Spanish Army Helicopter Forces base located to the south of Seville. This base is currently not existing in game. El Copero is the homebase of BHELMA IV, operating Cougar and Super Puma helicopters. The base also holds the Guardia Civil helicopter that operates in the area. This is also the homebase of several Anti-Air and electronic warfare units. It´s close to Rota and Gibraltar airports and near the mountains, so it´s a perfect location for helicopter operations in the southern coast of Spain.

FAMET Bétera (LEBT)
FAMET Bétera (LEBT), named Jaime I base, is the Spanish Army Helicopter Forces base located near Valencia, so its the perfect location for operations in the east coast. This base is currently not existing in game. It´s the homebase of BHELEME II emergency helicopter squadrons operating Cougar helicopters with their unique orange/camo livery. Those squadrons provide support to both military and civilian operations (such as rescue and firefighting) as the squadrons operate for both FAMET and UME. Therefore the helicopters are still used as utility ones although this is not the main role of those squadrons. The base is also one of the most important commanding HQ in the country capable of coordinating both NATO and civilian emergency operations and includes a wide variety of firefighting vehicles and rescue units.

Air Force Armilla (LEGA)
Armilla is one of the oldest airfields in Spain and it´s located next to Granada, in the heart of Sierra Nevada mountains. This base is currently not existing in game. Armilla is the homebase of Air Force Wing 78 that includes the Air Force helicopter school and Patrulla ASPA, which is one of the very few helicopter aerobatic teams in the world. Wing 78 operates Sikorsky S-76 and Colibri helicopters. S-76s also perform SAR missions as a secondary task while their main purpose is the helicopter school. S-76s are being replaced by H135s during 2023 as they are at the end of their lifespan. Base is prepared for fixed wing operations as well and even to receive cargo airplanes using south apron for that purpose, where you will find a parking position for heavy helicopters and cargo. Main runway is often used as FATO by helicopter formations and a VFR helipad located directly on north taxiway is also available. Patrulla ASPA uses the northernmost portion of north apron while helicopter school uses the other portion of north apron. The school has an additional set of 6 dedicated shorter runways/aprons, a small cargo apron and several helipads to the west of main runway. There´s a specific non-paved taxiway circuit that connects them with main aprons. Base also has a small museum, a fuel depot and one ammunition storage bunker located to the south of aprons.

I use a lot of payware scenery which requires to uninstall default asobo "enhanced" airports. SO I would like to know which I will have to install back or decide if it is not worth it. Thank you.
