It serves only domestic passenger and cargo flights. The operator and owner of the airfield is the airline Izhavia. in 2014, the airport's passenger traffic amounted to 254,918 people. Near Izhevsk there is also the Pirogovo sports airfield, together with which Izhevsk Airport is the only active civil airport in Udmurtia.
