'That's all ~~~ Brother' - The Historic C-47 '292847' D Day Flight

Late evening on the 5th of June 1944, with the newly hand-painted invasion stripes... a Douglas C-47 piloted by Lt. Col. John M. Donalson, took off from RAF Greenham Common and made history by leading the main airborne invasion of Europe. Carrying 101st Airborne Division paratroopers " Screaming Eagles", the journey took her over occupied Northern France to drop zones behind 'Utah beach'... the rest is history!

Flight Plan

• Take off and return to EGLP Brimpton ('RAF Greenham Common' was decommission in 1992)
• 390nm from beginning to end (following track)
  
• Just over 2 hours flight time (Douglas DC-3)
• Historical altitude varied from 1500 - 3000ft

She still flies today

Installation -
I have included 2 files in the download zip - extract these to a folder of your choice i.e. 'My Documents'

1) 'Thats all - Brother MSFS2020.pln' for directly loading into MSFS2020 or MSFS2024 via the EFB

Once in the Sim go to world map and click MORE... LOAD/SAVE buttons at the bottom of the screen, then navigate to the folder containing the '.pln' file

2) 'Thats all - Brother LNM.lnmpln' file can be opened in the 'Little Navmap' software, for anyone wanting to adjust or add waypoints
