Description
This mod aims to bring the skysim MD-11 up to more comparable visuals when stacked up against its MSFS peers. The features are as follows:
-Completely redesigned textures and PBR materials for ALL default liveries as well as the flight deck, galleys and cargo hold.
-Reintroduced ALL default liveries from version 2 of the MD-11 updated to the new standards.
-Includes 2 new Skysim "house" liveries as lots of reputable devs have them and it makes the package seem a bit higher end.
-Added a blank livery to all 4 variants for repainters. Those are far easier to customize as they are now solid colors due to the weathering being baked into the PBR instead.
***There is no official paintkit at the moment so this is your alternative.***

Really nice update! Thank you

Thanks mate! Took me forever and multiple updates but I think it's finally passable for msfs standards

Thank you for this. Any chance of toning down the sheen even more? Plane still looks too shiny/reflective.

Not really less shiny but reflects light better with the new pbr. It's based on what I saw in high quality addons

Amazing update!!!! Looks better than ever but there's a small issue - at a certain angle the tail vertical stabilizer becomes transparent/translucent. I can send screenshots if needed.

Anyway to make the ORBIS MD-10 fly, or use its paint on the MD11? Same cockpit.

I'll have to investigate that, thanks for the idea

That would be great. Do you think it could be done similarly to how people have shortened the upper deck on the 747-8?

unlikely on a payware model, but I'm hoping skysim eventually release their free md10 for msfs, as they have done so for previous platforms

I didn't know they made an MD-10. Interesting.
