    Description

    V3.0 - Made compatible with MSFS2024.  Fixed missing assets and fencing.  Download for MSFS2020 and MSFS2024.

    V2.0 - Complete revamp of entire airfield including new runway, taxiways, taxiway signs, parking spots and ground textures.  Also added more details in and around the airfield.

    V1.02 - Added new PBR textures to hangars.

    V1.01 - Fixed RW pavement issues and added some additional details around the immediate area while I was at it.

    Scenery enhancement to Auburn Municipal Airport (S50) in Auburn WA, in the shadow of Mt. Rainier and next door to Emerald Downs, named in honor of Dick Scobee, commander of the Spaceshuttle Challenger.  Enhancements include hand modeled hangers, fencing, various library asset hangers, improved lighting, some static GA airplanes (requires my KSNA scenery), addition of wherehouses along the south side of the airfield and lumbar yard along the north side of the airfield.

    Hi there, this would be perfect with 17/35 re-numbered and some builds/fuel island added. Also the taxiway is not entirely realistic at the 35 end.

    Short of actually flying, nothing's better than flying out of your home airport in MSFS when it's modeled this well. :)

    (apart from the fact the runway numbers IRL were actually updated a while back, minor oversight unless you're IFR)

    Thanks for taking the time to update my favorite GA airport! If possible, could you update the runways from 16/34 to 17/35? Auburn's runways were renumbered the better part of a year ago, and having the runways incorrectly numbered makes it impossible to fly IFR out of this airport.

    I would love it if you could add the extended runway ends with the arrows and the fuel pumps in the middle of the field. Then it would be perfect!

    Sir the bumps on the runway make this nearly unusable which is a shame because it is a great rendition of the field

    Hanger spaces are WAY better. The only this is the runway is SUPER bumpy, Especially Runway 34 side. Other than the runway, Fantastic!

    Another awesome scenery! Thanks so much! The enhancements to the area look great.


    I did find one small issue: On RWY 16, right before you get to Taxiway A, there are a couple of bumps in the runway. The second one is severe enough to briefly launch my C310 into the air, Harrier ramp-style. :) I cleared the rolling cache and reloaded to make sure nothing else was interfering or left over.

    I'll take a look... but this often happens and I've been unable to fix issues like this when they arise (PANC, KSNA, KLGB). Seems to be some kind of zipping error between ortho tiles that's core to the sim.

    Nice! Just flew in there. There's a Lowe's right across the street in case you need to fix up your hangar LOL.
