    Description

    Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) owns and operates the Kochi Airport, which is the first airport in the country built under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. It is also the first ever airport in the world fully powered by solar energy.

    hey bro great work ...!!!! can you please make a scenery for VABB its much needed ... there is no any other good scenery out there, i tha tried alkee VABB but in that the ILS not work ....

    hi Martin! For some reason, this airport really KILLS the frames on my computer. Never had this with any other airport. Any idea what the issue might be? I get stable 50 fps until like 200ft near the localiser especially near rwy 09. Some help with this will be appreciated!

    I'm having trouble. I'm not able to get the addon airport; only the basic airport is showing. Yes, I did put the folder in the Community folder. I have the Steam version, but other airports are not working either. This worked for me earlier, but after reinstalling the game yesterday, it's not working anymore

    This is good but one of the main terminal buildings (total there are 2) is not customized, also the main building itself seems beautiful but still quite simple. So far this is the best addon for Cochin and worth it.

    any chance you can add the different gates like 1L / 1R as separate parkings ? I was trying to make a gsx profile, but unfortunately, without the gates not being present in the BGL, I can't make pushback for those spots.

    What software are you using to edit the bgl ? I used to use ADE earlier, but that's not supported anymore.

    Cochin International Airport Limited [CIAL] became the first fully solar-powered airport in the world , Cochin International Airport (IATA: COK, ICAO: VOCI) is an International airport serving the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Located at Nedumbassery, about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of the city centre,It is the busiest and largest airport in the state of Kerala and 4th biggest airport in South India.[5] As of 2019, the Cochin International Airport caters to 61.8% of the total air passenger movement in Kerala.[6] It is the third busiest airport in India in terms of international traffic[7] and also ninth busiest overall. In fiscal year 2018–19, the airport handled more than 10.2 million passengers with a total of 71,871 aircraft movements.[6] The airport operates three passenger terminals and one cargo terminal with a total area of over 225,000 square metres (2,421,880 sq ft).[8] In 2015, Cochin International Airport became the world's first fully solar powered airport with the inauguration of a dedicated solar plant.[9][10] For this entrepreneurial vision, the airport won the coveted Champion of the Earth award in 2018, the highest environmental honour instituted by the United Nations.[11] The airport was awarded The Best Airport in Asia-Pacific in 2020 (5 to 15 million passengers per annum)
