Description
Dresden Airport (IATA: DRS, ICAO: EDDC) is the international airport of Dresden, the capital of the German Free State of Saxony. It is located in Klotzsche, a district of Dresden 9 km (5.6 mi) north[1] of the city centre. It was formerly also known in German as Flughafen Dresden-Klotzsche. Destinations from the airport include a few European cities and several holiday destinations.
Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), a subsidiary of ST Aerospace and Airbus, is based at the airport. EFW is mainly tasked with freighter conversions.
When I started flying from my home base I realised that the default scenery was lacking the correct ground layout. So I tried to start a personal project to improve Dresden International. When you want to contribute to it or to get progress updates, feel free to join my Discord.
You may need to have Paderborn by Aerosoft (it's free on the marketplace) installed because this airport is using some models from it. Furthermore, ensure please that you do a clean install when updating this mod meaning deleting the old version first and only then installing the new version.
If you want to do some helo ops you can spawn cold&dark on spots 51 through 54 or spawn on runway 23 for a hot start. Runway 23 shouldn't be used during normal operations because it is just a 30m long runway and will be removed with the introduction of real helipads.
The stands 100 through 107 aren't defined in real life. These are there so you can spawn your plane on the GA Apron. Additionally are stands 104-107 in Hangar 1 and 2 at the GA Apron located on the southern end of the airport.
Stand 200 is inside the car park of the airport. Spawn there if you want to drive around the airport in one of the cars released for MSFS.
I recommend everyone to check out the dependencies to greatly improve the flying experience.

Schön das es jemanden gibt der sich um DRS kümmert, allerdings finde ich die Payware Version von DRS wesentlich besser. Vorallem was das Terminal angeht.

Eine exzellente Szenerie! Vielen Dank für Dein Engagement. Nur leider sind die Taxiway-und Runwayschilder nachts unbeleuchtet... Man ist dann bei Dunkelheit also etwas orientierungslos..

Hallo, bin heute noch mal EDDC geflogen. Im Dunkeln dort angekommen verschlingt der Asphalt der Landebahn das komplette Landelicht des Fliegers. Wenn man das noch korrigieren könnte, wäre es für mich ein 4 Sterne Platz unter den Freewares.

Kann es sein, dass da noch Glitches auf der Runway sind?! So etwas gab es z.B. auch in Bremen, dafür hat ein Freund ein Glitch remover mod erstellt. Ansonsten kann es passieren, dass man auf der Runway unerwartet crashed... Ansonsten tolle Arbeit!

Hallo, ich hatte heute einen umfangreichen Kommentar abgegeben. Jetzt kommt das Update 0.5.1. Leider nur zur 30 % besser. Das ILS ist jetzt zwar in der richtigen Richtung, aber der Öffnungswinkel ist um ein Vielfaches größer und das ILS der SIM scheint immer noch nicht zu überschrieben werden. Die Einstellungen in der Weltkarte sind wieder möglich!

Hello, I had made an extensive comment today. Now comes the update 0.5.1. Unfortunately only 30% better. The ILS is now in the right direction, but the opening angle is many times larger and the ILS of the SIM still does not seem to be overwritten. The settings in the world map are possible again!

Hallo, habe gestern auch die letzte Version der Szenerie 0.5.0 mit allen Zusätzen installiert. Zuvor hatte ich auch die Szenerie für EDLP aktualisiert. Die Szenerie ist wirklich klasse und nun sieht in Nacht auch die Landebahn wie eine professionelle Landebahn aus. Aber es gibt ein gravierendes Problem mit dem ILS. In der SIM ist ein ILS22 IDRW mit 218° GS 3° und 109.75 MHz eingetragen. Das würde der aktuellen Veröffentlichung bei Jeppesen vom 15.06.2018 entsprechen. Das ILS im Mod hat eine lateralen Winkel von 221° und einen doppelten Öffnungswinkel. Frequenz, Gleitpfad und Bezeichnung sind die gleichen. Dazu ergibt sich auch noch, dass das Mod das ILS der Sim nicht überschreibt, was zu erheblichen Konflikten beim ANflug führt, wie ich gestern erleben durfte. Zudem, oder deswegen kann in der World-Map nun keine STAR (nur noch "Direct") oder Anflug (nur noch "automatisch") gewählt werden. In LittNavMab kann man sich das Dielemma auch im Bild ansehen. Wenn Ihr Mod aus dem Community-Ordner entferne ist alles wieder normal. Es wäre wirklich Schade für diese tolle Szenerie, wenn dieser Fehler daz führt, das sie nicht genutzt werden kann. Aktuelle AIRACS sind natürlich über Navigraph geladen! Freundliche Grüße aus EDDK.
PS: Ich habe gerade noch mal die die Version 0.1.5 geprüft. Diese ist dahingehend in Ordnung!

Das Problem mit den SIDs, STARs und Approachs sollte behoben sein (0.5.1).
Die Ausrichtung des ILS wurde auf 218° für RWY 22 geändert, wie es auch in den Charts steht. Danke für den Hinweis.
Ich habe gerade den Anflug mit dem Mod geflogen und es kam zu keinen Interferenzen zwischen verschiedenen ILS auf der selben Frequenz.
