    Description

    Have fun with this selectable pilot avatar based on Otto Pilot from the classic motion picture Airplane!  
    He's animated and is compatible with any plane that is set up with pilot and co-pilot nodes. This is a family friendly mod (no inappropriate innuendos) so don't worry. To select, navigate to the "Misc" tab in your options menu and cycle through pilot avatars.....you can't miss him. 


    Installation:

    Delete the old krcustoms-otto-pilot folder from your community folder if needed. Unzip the downloaded folder into your community folder prior to starting MSFS. You may need to move any other pilot mods/skins from your community folder to a temporary location for this mod to work. Please let me know if you have issues with this.

    Known issues: 

    • There is a clipping issue with the Airbus A320 seatbelts. 
    • I'm working to possibly add more sim driven animations, like having him panic when the aircraft stalls, etc.

    I'm very much wanting to get this working in 2024. If you're not interested in trying, can I get your original files to give it a go, if you have no plans to update it?

    I loved having Otto as my pilot but in the last while i no longer have him in the pilot list as an option to use . I thought might be b/c I had him in as add linker so downloaded new & put folder physically into Community folder but still no longer show up how sad . Any help to fix would be great . Thanks for your hard work on him .

    Update - All good now had another pilot addon that was conflicting . Disabled that & YEAHHHH Otto's back

    Dog may be my co-pilot thanks to GotFriends, but Otto is my pilot from now on! Thank you!

    I like his attitude , including when he is 0.5 seconds before disintegrating himself in a crash!

    Thanks for giving us Otto Pilot! He brings me so much joy. When I switch to drone mode to admire my ride, he's in there just smiling and scanning the skies for traffic. If he's sitting in the right seat, I just look over and say "Who loves to fly? This big galoot right here".
