Description
Hello!
So we are now at airport number 3. If you were not excited for the first two, this airport might just change your mind. Tinson Pen Aerodrome is one of Jamaica's largets regional airport and the home to many of flight schools available on the island. Many who aspire to become pilots from Jamaica calls this place home. There have been many representations of the airport before in various Flight Simulators but I doubt any has come to the level that we have here today. Much of that is due to the hight detail replication possible in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Hop into your favorite GA aircraft and take it for a spin in arround Kingston. You can also download the MKJP Lighting and Scenery Enhancement (by me) that has the Kingston Wharves Container Shipping port and Petrojam to have an additional feel of immersion.
As always please feel free to provide any form of feedback. It will help to improve the mod.
Thanks.

Wikipedia Information:
Tinson Pen Aerodrome (IATA: KTP, ICAO: MKTP) in Kingston, Jamaica is the largest of Jamaica's three domestic airports. It is located on Marcus Garvey Drive, a major highway that links Kingston to the nearby residential community of Portmore. The airport is also located near the Kingston Free Zone, a transshipment port. The airport caters mainly to business travellers. The airport also provides a vital commercial link between the cities of Kingston and Montego Bay.
Enjoy!

I observed that there is no longer any road traffic in the vicinity of your scenerys.
I have mktp, mkjp mkbs, mkjs.

I will check if there are any remove road or traffic options checked on these sceneries. I'm enjoying the new 737, so updates may be slow. 😅

Not sure if it's because I am using BETA SU9, but the windsocks are incorrect.

You're right. The socks seem to be off. I will take a look at this.

Did an update. Let me know if it's better now.

Thanks for taking on Jamaica.
A very special thanks for Tinson Pen, this is where I earned my PPL some 39 years ago.

Thanks for your effort and sharing this with us. Can never get enough of improved airports for this beautiful island. It appears Rwy's 32/14 are reversed. Planning a GPS visual approach chooses the opposite runway (G1000NXi). Can you fix?

Thanks for the feedback fuzz1. I'll look into working on this for the next update.

Thank you for the quick update and fixes. Look forward to any future improvements you may be considering.

Really like this one. Thanks you! This is where I learned to fly (PPL at Wings Jamaica in the early 2000s) so really excited by the enhancements. Not perfect but much much better than default. To improve you may want to remove the car park and building just east of the ATC tower (near Rwy 32). Also, pull parking spots a wee bit back from buildings. Cheers!

Noted thanks for the feedback. I will and those in the next update.

Hey!
I rechecked a few things and was a bit puzzled about the car park you mentioned to the east of the ATC. On google maps the car park is there. Is it that this is no longer the case? If so it would be great if you had some pictures or video from recently I could use as a reference.
I made the other updates and will upload the new changes soon.
Thanks.

Thank you very much for checking into my feedback and the quick response! My comment on this particular airport is dated and offbase since I haven't been back there for over 10 years. So, I'll defer to what you saw on Google maps. Cheers!

Thank you for making a big difference to Jamaica, nuff respect!
