As there was no real contender to Asobo’s Premium Deluxe rendition of this important airport, a team around Integralo formed to develop a high-quality freeware version of Frankfurt Airport.The VirtualFRA team creates this scenery in their spare time — featuring many details for a realistic and immersive experience.

🔧 Installation

For owners of the MSFS2020 Standard Edition:

• Download and extract the folder.
• Move it into your Community folder:   ...\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Community\
• Done! You’re ready to fly.

For MSFS 2024 Edition Users:

• The airport works overall.
• Some users have reported duplicated objects and terrain issues. Please check our scenery with MSFS2024 SU 6.1.
  For the best 2024 experience disable the Asobo Airport.

For owners of the Premium Deluxe Edition:

You can use our scenery alongside Asobo’s Premium Deluxe version.
Some default buildings may still appear where we haven’t made replacements.

Option 1: Installation via Installer

• Download our installer from: https://www.virtuval-fra.comv
• The installer lets you configure different scenery options easily.

Option 2: Manual Configuration

• Go to:   ...\Community\virtualfra-eddf\scenery\airport-eddf-frankfurt\

Rename the relevant .bgl files to .off  to disable them

Scenery Assets for optional configuration:

• additional static gound equipement
• virtualFRA meets Asobo -> turn on when you're using the Premium Deleuxe Airport at the same time
• virtualFRA Nool VDGS
• static Asobo Aircrafts at Lufthans Technik Hangar 5 and 6

🧹 Compatibility

Using BlackSquare Real Taxiways Europe?

• To avoid conflicts, delete the following file:  ...\Community\bksq-euro\scenery\global\scenery\EDDF.bgl
