The NAVLOG is open and i can see all the insructions but they appear all at once, i have to scroll through the steps myself?
Is this how it is supposed to work?
I thought I would get step-by-step instructions popping up at the right just in time when i have to do the next step like in FS Academy for example.
Or is the installation corrupt? What should i do/check/install now?
It is not because you have been able to land the aircraft once that you are ready for the next step. Maybe you are a perfectionist and want to practice until you get a perfectly smooth landing. You are the judge of your performance.
Or you just want to practice step4 without having to repeat all previous step. For example I comeback often to the first Mission, RWT001, when I switch to a new aircraft, to build the FLight Performance profile, and become comfortable in the new aircraft. Some flight simmer use the Instrument Rating mission as a refresher before a schedule IFR flight.
The whole idea is to provide a training enviroment without any constraint, as much as possible, but with all the information easily available if needed. Your Flight Instructor is the referenced book, I provide the training environment and step by instep instructions based on the book. And it is free.
I hope you find it useful, have a good flight.

So everything works as intended and there aren't supposed to be live feedback messages.
Thanks, still very usefull, i was only a bit confused.
At least the AI did now apologize:
"I am very sorry for the confusion and for giving you the wrong impression about how this specific mod works. I completely misspoke, and I am sorry for misleading you.You are entirely correct, and the developer is right: MSFS-RWT does not have live, reactive step-by-step triggers like FS Academy. Here is exactly where I made a mistake in my previous explanation:What I got wrong: I mistakenly told you that MSFS-RWT uses the reactive "Bush Trip" logic—where the game physically tracks your plane and auto-checks boxes or changes text the exact second you hit an altitude or waypoint. The actual reality: MSFS-RWT is structured as a static flight plan. The Navlog text is just a manual checklist that you have to read and follow yourself from start to finish. The simulator is not tracking your execution in real-time to advance a script, which is why your text wasn't changing or moving on its own. It wasn't actually broken; that is just how the mod was designed to function."

The most important thing to improve is to develop muscle memory, so that you take action without consciensously think about it. This come only with numerous repetitions. After a few years of driving a car you don`t think all the time about looking in the rear mirror, or how much pressure to put on the break, etc you just do it instinctively and that came with repetition.
I believe the most important mission in the package it the first one RWT001. I come back to it all the time. All the basics are there, if you master it, you are in business for the rest.
By the way it is easy to go back and forth between these missions. Now that the InGame Scenarios are available using Little NavMap VR, you can use a previous missions scenario if you have problem in a phase of a flight like landing.
Hope you enjoy it, have a bood flight.

I have the original Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020), and I installed this content in the Community folder as instructed, everything seems correct. However, the content is not recognized—it appears as not installed.
I have downloaded it several times and still couldn’t get it to work.
Is there a step-by-step tutorial on how to install it properly so it works? Thank you.

Amazing.
I would like to translate the content of the letters and instructions into Brazilian Portuguese, but I don’t know how to edit it. However, I do know how to use ChatGPT to translate accurately using proper aviation language.
I just need to know how to edit the HTML.
Regarding the Flight Log, it didn’t work. It doesn’t connect to any server and doesn’t recognize my FS2020 tag.
I look forward to your instructions.
Best regards from Brazil.
If you select Portuguese in MSFS2020, The Navlog instruction are going to be in Portuguese, I already translated that for the user.
As for the documentation, the easiest way is to use your browser option to translate. In chrome you click on the three vertical dot at the right top of the page.
The flightLog application uses its own database, and does not connect to any server. The first time you start it you have to add your gamer tag to the database before it is recognized. It is all described in the documentation under the setup tag:
RWT-FlightLog Application Setup
1. EXISTING USERS: Backup your FlightLog Database or Export your FlightLog Data, before installing the RWT-FlightLog application.
2. NEW USERS: Execute the " ...\MSFS-RWT_FlightLog-Appl\FlightLogInstall.exe"..
3. ALL USERS: Start " ...\FlightLog.exe" The FlightLog Application.
4. NEW USERS: Login using MSFS as the GamerTag.
5. NEW USERS: Fill out your GamerTag and Gamer information.
6. NEW USERS: Push the Add button.
7. ALL USERS: Login using your GamerTag ID.
8. ALL USERS: Push the Log Maint Button.
9. ALL USERS: Push the Import Log Button.
10. ALL USERS: Select successively: "Flight-Run_v5-0-0.csv", "Mission_v5-0-0.csv", and
"Aircraft_v5-0-0.csv", from " ...\MSFS-RWT_FlightLog-DB-Update
For the FlightLog application I recommend to use the new version : https://flightsim.to/addon/100693/rwt-flightlog-monitoring-tool
The one coming with MSFS-RWT will not be updated in the future. The new one has a scratchpad where you can take notes and better monitor your flight.

There are still some constraints imposed by MSFS Bushtrip, like the Navigation Procedure (Approach,..) are not automatically loaded into the GPS.
The next upgrade will try to improve the Instrument Rating Missions documentation .
Have a good flight

Users can document their flight phases using a structured scratchpad, perform self-evaluations, and track their flight progress.
The tool features automatic logging of MSFS activities and offers multiple functionalities such as weather updates, flight run management, and detailed reports on flight performance.
This tool replace the FlighLog application that was distributed with MSFS2020-RWT .
Future updates aim to broaden compatibility with additional flight simulation platforms.
