    Description

    Opened in 1864, with construction taking 33 years, The Clifton Suspension Bridge was the pinnacle of Isambard Kingdom Brunel's engineering career. Sadly, Brunel died five years before the project was completed.
    A bridge made of stone was first planned before Brunel submitted his cost-effective plans for a bridge made of iron.
    To this day the bridge has not required any extensive strengthening works, making Brunel's design really stand the test of time.

    The model features:
    • A handcrafted 3D model
    • Custom textures
    • Night lighting
    • Working traffic
    There is an issue at the moment with being unable to fly beneath road surfaces in the game. I will update when the SDK and Dev tools mature a bit further.
    So no flying under bridges for the moment sorry.

    I can't even see Asobo's Bridge in the latest UK update all, just the parapits!.

    Does not work unfortunately after the World 3 Update... being replaced by Asobo`s own version, which is not great. Any work around possible ?

    Awesome work. Another Bristolian here and the bridge has a big place in my heart.. It was an amusing disappointment to see a wall of water in place of the bridge with the standard scenery.. this is a must have. If I could fly under it I'd be even happier!

    As a Bristolian, I see this bridge most days so much better having it in-game now. Goes Well with the Bristol city pack on this site.

    Cheers! I'm working my way through the Forth Bridges at the moment, just finished modeling the rail bridge. Then it's the Humber after that. Can't give you a timeframe yet though sorry.

    Really nice job. I particularly like the work you have done beneath the bridge too, it makes a big difference, well done. Its a shame Asobo have not yet seen fit to sort out the issue with space beneath bridges so we can fly underneath them.

    Thank you! It seems Asobo have a few other issues to sort through at the moment, but I'm sure one day we'll be flying through the gorge and under the bridge.

    Many thanks, massive improvement over the default where the River Avon rose 200 ft up from the gorge below flowed over the bridge and then back down to the gorge the other side! A pleasure to fly past now.
    One point though, my inner child still wants to fly under the bridge, which I can't as the plane hits a transparent 3D object. Would it be possible to clear the space below the bridge, please?

    I'll certainly have a look into it. I've received mixed reports on being able to fly under bridges I have made. The collision properties can be a bit skewiff.

    Brilliant! This mod and the author's Severn Bridges mod makes the area a lot more pleasing to fly around.
