Description
This folder contains a repaint for the Junkers Ju-52/3m for MSFS2020. It shows JU-52 1Z+FL of KgrpzbV 1 (Kampfgruppe zur besonderen Verwendung) of the German Luftwaffe, that was shot down and made an emergency landing on 10 May 1940, during the attack on The Hague, Netherlands. It never flew again. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the original textures by asobo.

I believe this has something to do with the latest update. However, for some obscure reason it won't update in my sim just yet, so I can't check. Really annoying

yes the engines have now a texture :)
when i zoom out the "joints" look not so good (white lines)

Even if I understand that you want to show aircraft that are as historically correct as possible: The use of signs of unconstitutional organizations, including the swastika, is an offense under German criminal law, which is regulated in § 86a StGB. This state protection offense is an abstract endangering offence, which means that the elements of the offense are already fulfilled when the protected legal interest (e.g. democracy) is endangered; an infringement of the legal interest is not required. Legal interests protected here are the democratic constitutional state and political peace. The aim is to prevent the impression that there is a development contrary to the rule of law, in which anti-constitutional efforts in the direction symbolized by the signs are tolerated. The specific intention to support is not necessary. Violation of the license plate ban is punishable by imprisonment for up to three years or a fine.

Thankfully I live in the democracy that won WWII so it is freely downloadable here as we don't need to use laws to suppress our history or even symbols of our collective guilt.

Ich wollte damit nicht den Spass verderben. Ich ahbe früher selbst viele Modelle gebaut die historisch korrekt mit dem Hakenkreuz ausgestattet waren. Ich bin mir auch nicht 100 % sicher, ob das Verbot bzw. Gesetz für die historisch korrekte Nachbildung auch gilt. Ich wollte nur darauf hinweisen, damit es keinen Ärger gibt. Ich empfehle, dass der Entwickler sich selbst über die Rechtslage informiert. Ich bin kein "Blockwart!" Aber man sollte diese Zeit auch nicht verherrlichen, in der Millionen von Menschen gestorben sind. Denkt einfach selbst drüber nach und geht nach Eurem Gewissen. Danke.

I didn't want to spoil the fun. I used to build many models myself that were equipped with the swastika in a historically correct way. I am also not 100% sure whether the ban or law also applies to historically correct replicas. I just wanted to point this out so that there is no trouble. I recommend that the developer informs himself about the legal situation. But you shouldn't glorify that time either, when millions of people died. Just think about it yourself and go according to your conscience. Thank you.

Originally a part of the Luftwaffe, this aircraft was among the 10 captured JU-52s that made their way to the UK as war prizes. Repainted by Jan Kees Blom with original textures by Asobo, this historical aircraft was used by BEA on the Croydon-Livelpool-Belfast route in 1946-1947 before being scrapped in 1948.
