    Description

    A really small enhancement for VTSP Phuket Intl. Airport.

    It's not much but it makes Thailand a bit better and more realistic. :)

     

    Installation:

    Copy "nokinoriginals-airport-vtsp-phuket" folder to your community folder

    Might need ali501 - Kai Tak (VHHX) for lights

     

    Please note:

    I’m using "REX Real Global Airport Textures," so some textures may appear different.

    • Major Update: Completely rebuilt using the MSFS Editor instead of ADE.
    • Custom Ground Markings: Enhanced details with more updates coming soon.
    • Terraforming: Improved terrain reshaping for realism.

    Known Issues:

    • Gates 14, 14L, 14R, and 15 are currently missing due to an unknown error

    Great new looking airport version 2.0.0. however the approaches have been removed leaving only visual approach

    Great job! Thanks for creating this.
    The scenery works well in MSFS 2024...I made a little mod to put the MSFS 2024 tire marks on the runways and taxiways and built a basic GSX profile for the jetway gates.

    Hi, Airport is really good but in MSFS 2024 Jetways are not corretcs... Needs an adjustment.

    Thank you so much for your hard work! However, I've noticed that installing that airport will cause all the approaches and STARs to be removed/unavailable. I'm using the built in navdata (LIDO). I'm told this is an issue with the scenery when the scenery overwrites the navdata with it's own. When I uninstall the scenery, all the approaches/navdata is available again. Is this something that you can look into when you're free? Would love to fly more with your scenery. Thank you again!

    Thanks for looking into it. I took a moment to check the scenery in the BGLExplorer, and it appears that the scenery is set up to delete the NDBs and Waypoints around the area. Maybe you have an exclude that is accidentally tagged to remove the NDB and Waypoints? I'm told by the MSFS nav data devs that sceneries no longer need to edit the navaids/ILSes since they keep them up to date with the monthly navdata updates.

    Hi everyone,
    thank you so much for your patience! I’m excited to share this major update for my Phuket Enhancement. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it, as well as any issues you might encounter. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but you can expect some updates over time.

    Currently, I’m facing a frustrating issue with adding Gates 14 and 15. An error message appears without any description—it simply says “error” and prevents me from building the project. I’ll work on resolving this as soon as possible, and I might need to seek some help to get it sorted out...

    Hi everyone,
    It's been a while since an update, so I wanted to share some news with you. First, thank you all for your patience! I've decided to switch from using ADE to the MSFS Editor, which means starting the project from scratch. I realize this update comes quite late, especially with MSFS2024 on the horizon, but I'm excited to let you know that my "new" creation will still be released this December.

    It's been a while since I last updated my creations. After a long break, I'm glad to announce that I'm back. Please expect some updates, but be patient. 😄 Starting with VTSP, then I'll move on to VTUD, VTSG, VTSB, and so on.

    Subtle improvements are good but the bloody tree at the threshold of 27 is really annoying as it is in the approach path. In the day you will end up landing mid way down the runway, at night you will hit it for sure.

    ILS Is off. Airport enhancement is very basic. Some light poles and slightly thicker ground markings for the parking spots. Jetways disconnected. Shouldnt download this till fixed

    jetways are really hard to make in MSFS. Normally, airports that aren't completely flat have problems. I am confused about the ILS though? The satellite scenery should show the positions, so this doesn't make any sense to me. Is the ILS off in terms of the glidescope being ahead, behind? Is the localizer displaced or the angle doesn't align?
