Andøya Scenery Pack (ENAN)

This package is complementary to the airport package ENAN - Andøya Lufthavn/Andenes Flystasjon (Andoya Airport/Air Station) and contains custom night lighted 3D buildings/landmarks in the area outside the airport. Have used a 1 sq meters optimized height mesh for the the town Andenes. Most of the custom buildings in this verson are located in the harbour area around Andenes Lighthouse named "Fyrvika". Have also included maritime objects like light bouys, iron poles in the whole harbour area. More buildings etc. will be added in future versions. Enjoy!

Version 1.3:

• Removed a conflicting lighthouse that appeared after a sim update.
• Removed trees from small islands and other places where there are no trees.
• Changed the type of trees for the whole island of Andøya (replaced large trees with scrub).
• Other minor adjustments.

Version 1.2:

• Removed more default road lighting, bulidings etc. that don´t exist in real life.
• Modified some existing buildings/models.
• Added new buildings and models in the harbour area like the Vitux factory, harbour administration building and the ferry parking and pier ++
• Added more buldings in the apporach path of RWY 14 (city hall, two sports halls and other minor stuff).
• Added the ALOMAR research station on top of Ramnan mountain located west of ENAN airport. The station has glowing lazer beams during night.
• Improved terrain elevation og small islands/rocks close to Andenes and the approach path to RWY 14.
• Several other adjustmenst to the scenery and models.

Version 1.1:

• Added custom street lights along the main road in Andenes.
• Modified some existing buildings/models.
• Added more buildings in the harbour area.
• Added collision lights on mountains etc.
• Added more terrain mesh (3 m resolution) from Andenes to Bleik on the west coast.
• Added more maritime objects like flashing lights, small light-houses etc.

Known Issues:

• The lazers from the ALOMAR station can be seen as grey beams during day (glowing green during night). The day effect will be removed in the future.
• Ice forming at sea in winter time does not happen in real life (will be removed if/when that is possible).
• Continue to improve elevation on small islands/rocks along the coast.

NB! If you earlier have installed the "Andenes Lighthouse (ENAN)" package, please remove this before installing this scenery since the lighthouse is included in this pack.

Installation:

Make sure to delete earlier versions if installed. Then, just unpack .zip file and drag scenery folder into the community folder.
