To make the livery even more accurate, you could feature the full serial underneath the rear formation strip light. Refer to the photos you have posted to see it. A44-xxx is Super Hornet. A46-xxx is Growler. For the full list of Super Hornet serials and the build numbers, go to this website ADF Serials at http://www.adf-serials.com.au/3a44.htm. Having some issues editing comments. I'll just repost this again to fix the error. 1SQN have MODEX numbers ranging from 201 to 224, as all Super Hornets were transferred to 1SQN following the activation of the EA-18G Growler at 6SQN. 2OCU when it operated the Classic Hornet used the serials A21-101 through to 118. Since you have the Boomerang Tail Flash, which belongs to 6SQN, the MODEX numbers should be 301 to 312. The full serial is A46-301.

I fixed the boomerang. The roundel uses a mirroring system so both can't be correct until I find a way around it

Might have to dump it onto the fuselage texture direct.

The only real way to get around that would be modelling it right onto the plane, like how those non-mirrored 747 liveries are done
