    Description

    This is a modification to the default MMPS airport in MSFS. All modifications are done using Microsoft's SDK and some custom textures.

    Features include:

    • - Taxiways are properly assigned and mapped
    • - Gates are re-worked and re-numbered
    • - Runway materials updated for more realism
    • - Added night lighting to ramp areas, terminals, hangars, and many more buildings
    • - Hand-painted many taxi and apron lines for a more authentic feel.
    • - Modified and/ or replaced  many buildings within the airport area for more immersion
    • - Many custom ground markings
    • - Runway elevation carefully modeled with terrain terraforming
    • - Runway slope modeled

    Installation

    1. Unzip the .RAR file 
    2. Place the folder hss-airport-mmps-escondido in your MSFS "community" folder in your MSFS installation location.

    The terminal is a different model than shown in the thumbnail. Looks more like a hangar than a terminal. You may want to fix that. I'm on a fully-updated copy of MSFS 2020.

    We used the default terminal for the original rendition and just left it like that. I think there is a new terminal now on the southside of the apron too. Unfortunately, we lost all of our backups a while back and 95% of our airports were lost, which means any update would have to be a full rework and that's not really something we can presently do.

    -Compiled with new SDK -Re-did perimeter fence and airport internal fencing. -Un-cluttered the ramp a little -Placed lights on the mayor roads next to the airport, which were all missing at night.
