Description
This is the Derpy Hooves F-14A Tomcat. Only the best can become Derpybolts. This is a fictional F-14A repaint and is compatable with Sim Update 9. You will need the DC Designs F-14 Tomcat plane to use this livery as it is just a paint job, and not the actual plane. To install this custom livery simply download the file to your computer and unzip the file. Then copy or move the file inside called "dcdesigns-aircraft-f14-DHooves" to your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 "Community" Folder.
You can purchase the F-14 from DC Designs here:https://www.justflight.com/product/dc-designs-f14-a-b-tomcat-microsoft-flight-simulator?fbclid=IwAR2VUaMVQSXlSp1pIeY3Un2aGOtyqRrl000S0QN87CljwKCIJZ3hjJvxqCY from Just Flight, and then use this skin with the plane.
**Note: The static weapons you see in some of the screenshots are not available if you purchased the airplane in the MSFS 2020 Marketplace. Microsft /Asobo has a policy that no airplanes purchased through the Marketplace in the simulator will be able to display weapons. Static weapon versions are only available through distrubutors such as Just Flight. They are static and just for looks, you cannot fire them.
This is Freeware do not re-distrute for a fee, do not modify this design. You may make copies for your own personal use.

If you could I'd love those. I am honestly so stuck with this name thing a video on ideally free software and how to do it would be great as I know many will want to add their name but struggle. Thank you I am sure I will 😀

would changing the name on this livery count as modifying it?

Think would be up to mod but in legal terms (I have a legal education) if distributed it without permission then it could be classed as copywrite infringement but obviously you can freely edit anything for personal use. Even then legally in most countries copywrite only applies if profit is taken but that obviously doesn't mean it's right.
What do you use to change names may I ask? I have been struggling to do it since got my F-14!
