Description
American Airlines was one of the most important customer and development partner of Douglas and pushed for the production of the DC-6, getting the first production airplane and operating a total of 51 units.
American Airlines suffered some accidents due to a early design flaw of the that made them ground the DC-6 during 1947 as consequence, but once solutions were introduced kept using the 6 with great results pushing for the development of the DC-7 for longer range and faster.
Here depicted is the N90738 "Flagship Dayton". I will probably do some more of the different flagships and can try to do some specific by request.
If you have a Market Place DC-6 download the PMDG Operations Center (https://pmdg.com/downloads/)
Open the PMDG Operations Center that comes with your PMDG DC-6, Select "Aircraft and Liveries" from the top menu then click "Install from PTP file" and select the .PTP file you downloaded.
This way you make sure that the livery will keep working if PMDG or Microsoft updates their structure.
Hope you have fun with this livery!

Did you or anyone else make a Northeast livery?I swear i downloaded one,but cant find it anywhere on my machine,or in the download page.

Any chance you could include with the download some basic instructions on what to do with the single PTP file? Maybe consider making it so the necessary files could be extracted to the community folder, like literally every other livery on this site? Just something to consider.

Hi mate, this is actually how PMDG prefers to handle the liveries, even though single folder instalation can work too, the PTP file makes sure that even if the system is updated, the livery will keep working. I know if seems to be extra unecessay work, but keeps it future safe for you and for livery creators, now PMDG also provides the Operations Centre to Sim Market customers (as it should be from the beginning). Is not uncommon that user files make the simulator crash too..

So how do you install it?

Thanks! Unfortunately, I'm not sure whats going on with PMDG, but I have the pMDG Operations Center V2, but it says it cannot reach or connect to PMDG. I thought maybe I could re-install it, but when I click the link you provided, I get a 404. It says the page no longer exists. I wonder whats up. EDIT: Went to their website downloads section, and clicked the link for the Ops center (http://downloads.pmdg.com/operationscenterupdate/OpsCenterUpdater.zip) But I get "security risk" warnings from my antivirus. Perhaps they didn't pay their Google masters extortion fee to keep their site working. Google has basically hijacked the entire internet, and slaps "security threat" warnings on every site that doesn't pay them.
