    Description

    Welcome to Erzberg!

    The temporary airstrip "Erzberg" near Eisenerz, Austria - using the fictional ICAO: LOZE. The airstrip was used on a single day once every few years as part of the "Fly In Erzberg" events. With its extraordinary location on the shoulder of a iron ore mine, the airstip offers a challenge to anyone who is up for it. The airstrip features a short STOL runway with a slope of 10%.

    How to install?
    Simply drag the unzipped "troglodytus-airport-loze-erzberg" folder into your community folder!
    Additionally you can drag "troglodytus-challenge-loze-erzberg" into your community folder, if you want the custom landing challenge to be included.

    @ all: don´t forget to also use the 10m or the 20m DEM for Austria, to polish the quality of the "vanilla" landscape. This is a great region to see the benefits of those nice DEMs.


    This region looks so fantastic, it´s hard to really realize this just by screenshots.

    DEM is included with this addon for the surrounding areas!! No need to install the DEM mod if you stay close to the airstrip.

    What if I have the DEM-Mod already installed? Will there be any conflicts?

    no conflicts. I´ve been flying it with the 20m DEM active, as i did not realize, it has it´s own DEM already integrated.


    But i haven´t tried it with the 10m DEM yet...

    There should be no conflicts whatsoever. It is just not necessary to have the DEM installed, but it is definitively a bonus, if you plan to fly to any other area in Austria!
