    Description

    This tool will help you with controlling and indicating current SimRate in Microsoft FlightSimulator 2020 via SimConnect.

    It can display and announce the current SimRate via voice. Another feature is the automatic increase and decrease of SimRate along your flight plan.


    Features

    • Display current SimRate and distance to next waypoint in app
    • Announce current SimRate via voice on change
    • Automatic SimRate increase/decrease until final waypoint of flight plan is reached (description below)

    Automatic SimRate

    When you click the "Start Travel" button the SimRate will automatically increase and decrease when the final waypoint is reached

    Best use this when you departed and autopilot and speeds are set.

    The button will only be enabled if gps variables show a flightplan.

    The conditions for auto travel to automatically stop are currently:

    • 15nm before final waypoint in flight plan (before approach)
      25nm before final waypoint on direct flights
      Approach activated
       

    Depending on cross track error and distance to the next waypoint, the SimRate will decrease to allow the autopilot to properly adjust heading. SimRate will increase after the waypoint again.

    This tool will only work properly if the plane/avionics feed the GPS SimVars properly.

    Great thing for a Medium Cargo flight. I just don't know why after completing this flight it stopped showing me medium cargo orders

    Love this addon, but again, keeps crashing. I can go through 5 restarts within a 2hr flight. Please update!

    Super helpful tool but as mentioned several times in the comments, constantly crashing. I just had to restart the app more than five times during a 140 min session. :(
    Otherwise deserves five stars...

    Great addon! However the program sometimes just stops to work and doesnt go up or down anymore. I use it with sim rate adjuster

    Great tool, but it constantly crashes. If you do a long haul, you'll end up opening it at least 10-15 times which can be annoying. Here is a screenshot of the event log for you to view https://prnt.sc/1-1LHrTj2I8u

    Why does my plane stall after some time of using x8? it looses completely power and just falls. any way to fix?

    Your plane probably fly at maximum heigh. My PC-12 & PC-24 and GC have that problem. It is not a problem of soft but human's problem :)

    Thanks for this mod, I use it a ton and this has saved me many annoyances.

    The only issue I have is that it randomly closes/crashes without warning. Not sure whats causing it. Can sometimes happen several times per flight. I'm using it on MSFS2024 and Win 10.

    Seems to work really well even with installing while in a flight with MSFS 2024 - the auto trim goes wonky if I have it set to rate 8x. violently pitching back and forth between 1 and -1. Doesn't seem as prominent in 2 or 4. (auto AI trim on and off, same result)

    The flight is still going fine no issues, but it does make it a bit wobbly to look at and not enjoyable to watch the sim as its progressing to the destination. Any suggestions on this?

    I use MSFS2020, Fenix A320 and Simbrief and this sim rate tool does not seem to work. Have not tried default aircraft and flightplan.

    Hello, great tool!
    Would it be possible to add an option to keep the window on top of other windows?
    Also, a keyboard shortcut to enable/disable travel would be useful.

    Absolutely great. It tells you the simrate so you don't need to have the app on screen. Works with MSFS2024!

    it doesnt work for me i start it click connect then it just disappears tried it again but same thing even as administrator
