Description
Chesterfield County Airport is a public airport located four miles southwest of the central business district of Richmond, a city in Chesterfield County, Virginia, United States.
I have tried to recreate this airport as close as possible to the actual airport using only objects from the ASOBO libraries. All taxiways are correctly named. Aditional aircraft parking added. Night lighting added. Automobiles removed from parking lot and replaced by rows of parked automobiles. Rotating Beacon was in the wrong place so it was removed and a new one added.
Due to limitations in ADE the Rotating Beacon does not work. This will be corrected when possible.
V1.1 Rebuilt for compatibility with Sim Update 5. Some minor modifications.

First off, hats off to you, for someone who goes to this airport often your modelling of it encaptures a lot of the details MFS missed. However about the beacon I messed around with it and got it working. Just gotta select the "Has beacon" box in the properties menu. Really appreciate what you have done and if I can ask can I get your permission to possibly add onto what you've already done to make it closer to real life? This would only be the new hangers they built and details such as the helicopter dollys and Civil Air Patrol hanger/Air Nat Guard area. Once again though amazing job!

It appears that there is a new tarmac at Rwy 34. It shows as closed. Is that area still under construction in real life? The default version has a lot of parking at that end so I don't know if I should delete the parking or open the taxiway. I decided to rework that airport.

Do you mind if I ask what's new in the update from today? I don't see anything in the change log.

I reduced the size of the parking spaces and moved them to allow for additional aircraft. I also darkened the grass area. I may have made other changes that I don't remember.

Wow! Fantastic add-on and my local field! Absolutely thrilled to finally see this come to the sim. I previously flew out of here when I was working on my PPL. One big question - have you considered doing Richmond International? Thanks for this amazing airport!
**Another question: Are we able to remove the touchdown zone lighting? Looking at a recent video from this month on YouTube, KFCI doesn't have this. Thanks!
