ATR 72-600 - Grey Interior without Beechcraft logos - Image 1

    Description

The ATR 72-600 Community mod currently uses the cockpit of the King Air because it's the only default twin turboprop in MSFS. Apart from the fact this cockpit is considerably smaller than the original, it also has a beige interior which looks really weird in a passenger airliner like this. Also the yoke has the "Beechcraft King Air" logo on it.
So for my personal use I did a quick and dirty repaint of the whole thing to a more corporate grey and also removed the logos from the flight yoke.
In addition I included a standard thumbnail for the plane so that it fits better into the standard aircraft lineup.

When the cockpit got changed to the king air I just stopped using it sadly. Kills immersion too much.

This looks nice though. If only you couldn't see the props out the windows.

Since I have never sat in a real ATR and didn't know what the real cockpit looks like I don't have the immersion problem.
It is unfortunate that you can't see the exterior when inside. :-(

The exterior is being hidden when sitting inside because the position as well as the windshield of the cockpit of KingAir is different from the ATR. If exterior is enabled, you will find yourself sitting inside the passenger cabin. As the cockpit itself is a 3D model, you may need to rebuild all the things even if you just want to translate its position. It is too difficult for a small team like me, where the A32NX team have more than a hundred of contributors, including real world pilots.

Wasn't meant as a complaint. I understand the problem behind it. It was merely a comment on the fact that nothing can be done about this unfortunate reality.
