Description
Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport also known as Srinagar Airport or Budgam Airbase is a military airbase that serves Srinagar, the summer capital of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is owned by the Indian Air Force, and the Airports Authority of India operates a civil enclave at the airport.
Changes made so far:
- Added accurate parking and gate positions.
- Added missing Aprons.
- Added all missing taxiways and helipads.
- Added ILS and PAPI lights to the airport(tested using A32NX's autoland).
- Added static aircraft.
- Added ground textures and taxiway signs.
- Significantly improved night lighting(there was barely any present before hand).
- Added missing hangars or ground objects.
- Deleted existing jetways and placed them in more accurate spots.
- Default terminal and jetways so far, hoping to change that in the future.
Known Issues:
The terraforming looks weird, it was done so to prevent any bumps on the runway.
The ILS is still in its early stages, will be improved in later versions.
If this is recieved well by the community I'll try and implement custom jetways and a handcrafted terminal and also work on some more small Indian Airports.

Airport looks great, but it's not properly on the ground. It sits on a 100ft high cliff.

Marvelous work on Srinagar Airport. I love it. However, there are two ILS localizer frequencies shown on the MSFS map for runway 31 approach. One is ISRI on 111.3 MHz and the other is ISRN on 110.3 MHz. ISRN is the correct one. Is there a chance of removing ISRI? Additionally, it would be great if there are PAPI lights on runway 13 approach. Keep it up and thanks.
