    Description

    🇬🇧 English Version

    ✈ MSFS Graphics Assistant
Frametime-first performance diagnostics for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

**MSFS Graphics Assistant** is a desktop companion tool designed to help **Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024** users — especially **NVIDIA GPU users** — better understand, analyze and improve performance stability.

Instead of focusing only on raw FPS, the app is built around a more meaningful approach for MSFS:

    ## smooth frametime, stable flights, better decisions.

Because in Microsoft Flight Simulator, a higher FPS number does not always mean a smoother experience.

🌟 What is MSFS Graphics Assistant?

MSFS Graphics Assistant helps you identify what really affects your flight experience:

    - frametime instability
    - stutters
    - performance spikes
    - GPU or VRAM pressure
    - heavy scenery
    - traffic or weather impact
    - Community add-ons
    - monitor refresh-rate mismatch
    - graphics settings that may not match your hardware

The goal is not to blindly reduce graphics settings, but to understand what is happening and make better decisions.

🟱 Best suited for NVIDIA GPU users

MSFS Graphics Assistant can be used as a general MSFS 2024 performance diagnostic tool, but it is currently **best suited for users with NVIDIA graphics cards**.

Some of the most advanced features rely on NVIDIA-specific information, including:

    - NVIDIA driver version
    - NVIDIA GPU telemetry
    - GPU clock
    - memory clock
    - P-State
    - power usage
    - power limit
    - read-only MSFS NVIDIA profile detection

Users with AMD or Intel GPUs may still benefit from the general monitoring, MSFS settings reading, diagnostic reports and Community add-on management, but NVIDIA users currently get the most complete experience.

**No automatic NVIDIA setting modification is performed.**

    🚀 Current Features

    📊 Real-time performance monitoring

Monitor the most important performance indicators while flying:

    - FPS
    - frametime
    - 1% Low
    - stutters
    - CPU usage
    - GPU usage
    - RAM usage
    - VRAM usage

This gives you a clearer view of how stable your session really is.

📈 Frametime graph inspired by MSFS DevMode

The live header graph is inspired by the MSFS DevMode FPS display.

    It helps you quickly visualize:

    - smooth periods
    - unstable periods
    - sudden frametime spikes
    - repeated stutters
    - overall session stability

This makes it easier to understand why a flight may feel smooth or unstable, even when FPS looks acceptable.

    ⚙ MSFS graphics settings reader

MSFS Graphics Assistant reads key graphics settings from the simulator configuration file.

    Detected settings include:

    - Anti-Aliasing
    - DLSS / DLAA / FSR
    - Frame Generation
    - NVIDIA Reflex
    - Terrain LOD
    - Objects LOD
    - Texture Quality
    - Shadow Map
    - VSync
    - Frame Limiter
    - Target Frame Rate

These values help the app provide more relevant diagnostic feedback.

    🧠 Adaptive diagnostic analysis

The diagnostic engine focuses on stability instead of maximum FPS.

    It can help identify:

    - smooth sessions
    - isolated spikes
    - repeated stutters
    - possible streaming or scenery issues
    - possible add-on related issues
    - possible GPU limitation
    - possible VRAM pressure
    - unstable frametime despite acceptable FPS

The app helps you avoid unnecessary setting reductions when the real issue may come from scenery loading, traffic, weather, cache or add-ons.

🟱 NVIDIA telemetry and driver/profile insights

MSFS Graphics Assistant can read NVIDIA-related information in read-only mode:

    - NVIDIA driver version
    - MSFS NVIDIA profile detection
    - GPU clock
    - memory clock
    - P-State
    - power usage
    - power limit

This helps determine whether a spike or stutter may be related to GPU behavior, driver settings or another cause.

**No automatic NVIDIA setting modification is performed.**

    đŸ§© Community add-on management

The app can detect your Community add-ons and help manage them during troubleshooting.

    You can:

    - view active add-ons
    - view disabled add-ons
    - enable add-ons
    - disable add-ons
    - separate active add-ons from disabled ones
    - compare diagnostic sessions before and after disabling add-ons

This is especially useful when testing heavy airports, complex aircraft, traffic packages, scenery add-ons or utilities.

For safety, add-on activation/deactivation is intended to be used when MSFS is not running.

    📝 Diagnostic sessions and reports

Run timed diagnostic sessions and automatically generate reports.

    Reports can include:

    - session duration
    - average FPS
    - average frametime
    - maximum frametime
    - 1% Low
    - stutters
    - spike analysis
    - CPU / GPU / RAM / VRAM usage
    - NVIDIA telemetry
    - MSFS graphics settings
    - add-on summary
    - hardware information
    - monitor refresh-rate information

These reports are useful for comparing different flights, settings, scenery areas or add-on configurations.

    🔒 Local anonymous diagnostic export

The app can generate anonymized JSON diagnostic exports.

These exports are currently generated and stored **locally only** on the user’s computer.

    No automatic upload is performed.
No cloud service, email service or external server is contacted by the app for diagnostic exports.

The export keeps useful technical information such as:

    - hardware
    - display refresh rate
    - MSFS graphics settings
    - performance metrics
    - add-on summary

while avoiding personal information such as:

    - Windows user name
    - email
    - full Windows paths
    - full Community folder path

Users remain in control of their files and can choose themselves whether they want to share a diagnostic export manually.

    đŸ–„ïž Hardware and display awareness

The app takes your hardware and monitor into account:

    - CPU
    - GPU
    - RAM
    - VRAM
    - screen resolution
    - monitor refresh rate

Display refresh rate is important because it helps define realistic frametime targets.

For example, on a 120 Hz monitor, a stable 60 FPS / 16.7 ms experience may feel better than an unstable attempt to reach the maximum refresh rate.

    🎯 Performance Philosophy

MSFS Graphics Assistant follows one simple idea:

smoothness is more important than chasing the highest FPS number.

A flight can feel excellent at 50 or 60 FPS if frametime is stable.
A flight can feel poor at higher FPS if frametime spikes constantly.

The app helps you find a better balance between:

    - visual quality
    - smoothness
    - hardware usage
    - simulator settings
    - add-on impact

đŸ› ïž Planned / Future Features

    Future improvements may include:

    - expanded localization
    - more complete English translation
    - richer visual summaries
    - improved recommendation engine
    - more advanced NVIDIA and driver guidance
- more export and sharing options
    - improved diagnostic reports
    - additional UI and quality-of-life improvements

Community-wide diagnostic statistics may be explored later as a separate future project.

    đŸ‘€ Who is this for?

MSFS Graphics Assistant is made for simmers who ask questions like:

    - Why do I still get stutters with good FPS?
    - Is my GPU really the problem?
    - Are my graphics settings coherent with my hardware?
    - Is my Community folder affecting performance?
    - Should I lower settings, or is the issue somewhere else?
    - What frametime target should I use for my monitor?
    - Is my flight smooth, or just showing a good FPS number?

If you want a clearer, more practical view of your MSFS 2024 performance, this tool is made for you.

    ✅ Final Note

    This is a V1 release.

Some features will continue to evolve, and localization may still be improved over time.

The goal of this project is to provide a useful, practical and transparent diagnostic assistant for the MSFS community.

    ## Built for simmers who want smooth, stable flights.

    đŸ‡«đŸ‡· Version française

    ✈ MSFS Graphics Assistant

    - P-State
    - puissance GPU

    - Anti-Aliasing
    - DLSS / DLAA / FSR
    - Frame Generation
    - NVIDIA Reflex
    - Terrain LOD
    - Objects LOD
    - Texture Quality
    - Shadow Map
    - VSync
    - Frame Limiter
    - Target Frame Rate

    - P-State
    - puissance GPU

    - FPS moyen
    - frametime moyen
    - frametime maximum
    - 1% Low
    - stutters
    - analyse des spikes
    - charge CPU / GPU / RAM / VRAM

    ✅ Note finale

    **Hi, thanks for your work.
The uploaded package seems incomplete: there is no executable (.exe) inside the ZIP.
    The archive only contains:
    – MSFS Graphics Assistant.dll
    – MSFS Graphics Assistant.deps.json
    – MSFS Graphics Assistant.runtimeconfig.json
    – dependency DLLs

This means the application cannot be launched, because the main EXE file is missing.
Could you please upload the complete release including the .exe?
    Thank you!**

The program seems to be good, but the font is very small, and it's impossible to read anything calmly. You can do this in the settings to increase it. And you can't select and copy text from the program window, that's also bad.

Thank you for the great analysis tool!
The tool measures, analyzes and displays the performance characteristics of the PC system together with MSFS2024 and provides suggestions for improvement.
Surprisingly, such a graphics assistant is still missing today. The many recommendations on YouTube for settings in the MSFS2024 aren't particularly valuable, as each system has different performance data.
Thanks for the user guide on the Discord channel. A YouTube channel with a video would promote distribution.
