    Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport     (IATA: DCA, ICAO: KDCA, FAA LID: DCA), also known as National Airport, Washington National, Reagan National Airport or simply Reagan, is in Arlington, Virginia, next to the border of Washington, D.C. It is the smaller of two airports operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority that serve the National Capital Region (NCR) around Washington (the larger airport being Washington Dulles International Airport about 25 miles (40 km) to the west in Virginia's Fairfax and Loudoun counties).The airport is 5 miles (8.0 km) from downtown Washington D.C. and the border is visible from the airport.

    Move the srinivasman-kdca file into your Flight Simulator 'Community' File and the starred KDCA airport should show up on the world map


    DISCLAIMER: No gates/taxiways were edited. Only custom buildings added. Some of the gates do not work, but I did not touch them. Go fight Microsobo. Also at least 15 gates do work so just use one of those.

    ILS 01 either wrong or non existent, rending this scenery pretty much useless. stick with stock, at least you can fly in there on days other than sunny.

    Maybe that’s why my ILS 1 won’t work. I don’t even have this scenery anymore I have Drzewiecki Design but can’t get ILS 1 to work on the FBW A32NX

    Very slightly better than stock scenery. Seems to be abandoned as it has not been updated to include the E gates.

    The payware is very good, but it is still $15. As a VATSIM ATC at DCA, I would love to have up-to-date freeware to link pilots to.

    This may be the worst scenery on this entire website. White walls with no texture. Great. Buy the payware version.

    The night lighting at the airport is absolutely terrible, it literally looks like a glow stick, it is so bright and so unrealistic. Anyways, how could I complain?! This is all for free ;)

    No no, both this seems abandoned by this developer as it's now completely outdated. It was incomplete at the stage it's been left in, but after the World Update 2: USA it is ruined and does not work well....various issues from missing stuff, missing STAR and SID procedures (hence almost no live traffic), completely dysfunctional airport lighting, elevation issues, modeLib.bgl naming convention not followed up after Asobo shared it with everyone, etc, etc.
    I suggest against downloading this - until the developer appears with updates - I hope everything's fine with her !

    I've been using this airport quite a bit recently, and I noticed there is barely a single airliner parked at any gate. Is that related to live traffic and the real life TFR that's in place for the inauguration, or is it intrinsic to the scenery itself?

    Great iconic airport. You did a great job with the building structure! Would love to see more detail on the night lighting (emissive textures). Otherwise, I might
    suggest lowering the emissive factor in the object file (or just editing the emissive texture itself) so the windows aren't so bright at night.

    Thanks again- one of my favorite airports to fly into!
