Description
CrewMate INIA350 adds a virtual First Officer to your iniBuilds Airbus A350 flights in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 or 2024). Talk and your FO hears you, answers with clear voice callouts, runs realistic cockpit flows, and walks you through interactive checklists from preflight prep all the way to parking and securing the aircraft.
All checklists and flows were modelled according to a real world airline (checklists adjusted to what INI has modelled)
What you can do
- Voice control: Gear, flaps, engine and wing anti-ice, landing/taxi/strobe lights, flight director, autopilot modes, headings, speeds, and altitudes — plus a full flight controls check on command.
- Flows & checklists: Flows for cockpit prep, before/after start, taxi, line-up, climb, descent, approach, landing, after landing, parking, and more.
CrewMate is free and open source. Voice recognition runs on your PC, your voice data is not sent to the cloud for processing.
Requierements
- MSFS 2020 or 2024
- iniBuilds A350 (required for this edition of CrewMate)
- English speech recognition must be installed in Windows (Settings → Time & language → Speech). Any regional English pack Windows offers (United States, United Kingdom, Australia, India, etc.) works
- To use the speech trainer, the OS Display Language needs to be set to EN-US
- Install: Run the MSI installer, then launch CrewMate (the voice engine starts with the app).

- Fixed the FO repeating the reminder on an incorrect checklist item instead of saying it once, even with "Hold checklist on incorrect item" switched off - @marxio09dio - Fixed the missing "check" callout when shutting down engine 1 or 2 - @marxio09dio - Fixed the ECAM HYD and ENG pushbuttons staying pressed, which stopped the pages switching on later runs, and the FO now deselects the ENG page after the check - @marxio09dio - Fixed the FADEC and oxygen test steps reporting a failure when they had actually worked - @marxio09dio - Voice commands the FO cannot act on are no longer shown as accepted - @marxio09dio

It's very compact and clean and works mostly like a charm. Generally the voice control works very well, even while communicating with atc as well. Only sometimes I have to repeat commands for the PM to act on it.
I can't really speak on things like cockpit preparation, because I mainly use the app to do things like flaps/gear up/down and the corresponding flows in the high workload situations. This way I can concentrate on taxiing/takeoff/landing and the app is very well suited for that. It just plugs into every situation, without it taking over things, that I want to do myself or the need to do a full setup!

You can improve the voice recognition by using the included training app. You can freely edit the phrases/words on the file and then train your voice recognition with them.
