    Bushtrip Logbook

Bushtrip Logbook is a free web app that turns your bush flights into a story. No install, nothing to add to your Community folder: open the site, pick a bushtrip, and fly it in your simulator with the logbook open on a second screen or tablet.

BUSHTRIP LOGBOOK — Where the runway ends, the story begins.

    WHAT YOU GET

    - Story-driven bushtrips: every leg gives you passengers, cargo and a reason to take off. The story unfolds after each landing.
    - An interactive map of the route with waypoints, airfields and runways.
    - A flight sheet tailored to your aircraft: distance, ETE, magnetic courses (WMM2025 variation), fuel required, takeoff weight, runway lengths and ceiling checks.
    - Six base aircraft (C172, C185, Beaver, Twin Otter, PC-6, Caravan) with passenger or cargo configuration, plus your own custom aircraft.
    - Objectives to tick off: the leg completes, the stamp goes down and the arrival story is revealed.
    - Your progress is saved in your browser, with a history and a player rating for each bushtrip.
    - Fully bilingual interface (English / French), with a separate catalogue for each language.

    CREATE YOUR OWN

The built-in prompt generator prepares everything for an AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini…): pick a region, an aircraft, a number of legs, a tone and a story direction, paste the prompt, then load the .json file it returns. You can then fine-tune it in edit mode (move waypoints on the map, rewrite the story) and send it in: the best ones join the public catalogue.

    THE RULES? THERE AREN'T ANY

It's role-play. Nothing is checked: you tick the objectives yourself. For the best experience, set the month, the time and the payload shown in the scenario before each flight.

Works with MSFS 2020/2024 and any simulator with real-world airfields. Figures are indicative, for simulation use only.
