Description
King Khalid International Airport, which is the center of the national air transport system in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Designed by the American Architectural Office Helmut, Obata and Kasabaum, it was opened in 1983 to be the largest airport in the world in terms of area, with the airport's land area of about 225 square kilometers, the airport bearing the name of Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who was the fourth king of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
