Service Pack 1 (SP1) is the first major update for the iFly Boeing 737 MAX 8 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The update introduces an all-new tablet-style Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), CPDLC integration via the Hoppie network, cabin announcement systems, and the Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 variant. Additional improvements include updated exterior and cockpit modeling, revised cabin layouts, enhanced materials and textures, a visual APU model, wheel well enhancements, weather radar functionality, LNAV refinements, and numerous bug fixes. SP1 also marks the final major development milestone for the MSFS 2020 version before iFly shifts its focus to native MSFS 2024 development and the upcoming 737 MAX 9.
