Developer ZNScenerys has released a new freeware rendition of Três Lagoas Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Located in Mato Grosso do Sul, Três Lagoas Airport serves the city of the same name and sits on an important regional axis between Brazil’s Midwest and Southeast. The airport uses the ICAO code SBTG, while the scenery is listed as SSTL.
The add-on focuses on recreating the airport with more detail than the default scenery, including custom-built hangars and airport buildings rather than generic replacements. The apron and surrounding ground textures have also been reworked to better match the real-world layout. Runway dimensions and markings are based on the actual airport, while custom lighting has been added for night operations. The scenery also includes static objects around the airport to make the field feel less empty during arrival and departure.
If you fly across Brazil, Três Lagoas makes for a useful stop between larger destinations and gives VFR and regional IFR flyers another smaller airport to add to their routes.
