The scenery recreates Karup's civilian terminal building and control tower with custom modeling. Surrounding terrain has been terraformed to better match the real-world contours of the airfield, helping the scenery blend naturally into the default world terrain rather than sitting as an isolated patch of detail. Beyond the terminal itself, the package includes a number of smaller touches that add life to the airport environment. Fuel pipes run across the apron area, animated flags move with the wind, and a working fuel truck adds a bit of dynamic activity to the ramp.
While the primary focus of this release is the civilian area, Mr_Thomsen has also included a selection of handcrafted military buildings, giving a first look at the air base side of Karup. The full military area is planned for future updates, so this release can be seen as the first step in a more complete recreation of the airport as a whole.
