It is a busy general aviation facility serving the greater Tampa Bay area, offering two runways, a range of instrument approaches including an ILS to runway 23 and RNAV procedures to runways 5, 23, and 18, and extensive parking options that span everything from simple tie-downs to T-hangars and enclosed box hangars. Cat3Dual has now released a focused scenery enhancement that brings Tampa Executive Airport much closer to its real-world appearance.
The enhancement is grounded in a December 2025 airport layout, meaning the pavement and taxiway network have been carefully reworked to reflect current imagery rather than outdated aeronautical data. Older taxiways A3 and A4, which no longer exist in the real-world configuration, have been removed, and run-up areas adjacent to both runway 5 and runway 23 thresholds have been added for accuracy. The Skyport hangar expansion is also represented here.
Beyond the layout corrections, the add-on introduces custom buildings, shade ports, and hangars that give the airport its distinctive Florida general aviation character. Taxiway signage and airfield lighting have been addressed, as have the runway 23 glideslope and localizer antennas that serve the ILS approach.
