Developed in collaboration by FSimStudios and Texan Simulations, KHOU - Houston William P. Hobby Airport brings the rich history and bustling atmosphere of Houston's iconic aviation hub right to your virtual cockpit. Houston Hobby Airport, colloquially known as Hobby, has a rich history as Houston's oldest commercial airport. Once the primary airport until the opening of Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport in 1969, Hobby faced a period of closure before reopening as a secondary airport for domestic flights. Over the years, it has also become a prominent center for corporate and private aviation, attracting both leisure and business travelers.

The collaborative efforts of FSimStudios and Texan Simulations have resulted in a meticulously crafted virtual representation of Houston Hobby Airport. The ongoing construction at the airport is faithfully incorporated into the add-on. Custom taxiway signs have been implemented to ensure accurate navigation throughout the airport. Improved high-resolution orthographic imagery captures the essence of the airport and its surroundings. In addition to the airport itself, the add-on includes the iconic Hobby Airport DoubleTree Hilton, which serves as the venue for the first day of the 2023 FSExpo. Developed by FSimStudios and Texan Simulations, this recreated airport offers virtual pilots an opportunity to explore Houston's aviation heritage. With its historical significance and attention to detail, KHOU - Houston William P. Hobby Airport promises an immersive and authentic experience.

Picked it up last week, it is miles beyond the stock KHOU airport. Definitely worth the purchase.
