Nanaimo Airport is located 7 nautical miles south southeast of the city of Nanaimo , British Columbia , Canada .
All the buildings are custombuild models .
Thanks Ken Peters For some of the photos of the airport he's used to build the airport for FS9 and FSX .
For installation , just unrar , copy and paste the CYCD-Nanaimo airport folder into community folder where MSFS 2020 is installed .
Hope you enjoy the scenery as I do .
Minh .

UPDATE : Version 1.3.0 ( Oct 3rd 2023 )
NOTE : You need all four of my airports installed to avoid missing 3D objects .
They are : CYXH , CYQL , CYCD and CAT4
Enjoy !

Hi, any chance you could make this a star airport on the World Map? It's just one checkbox in the airport properties in the editor.

It's had star since November last year . Do you have version 1.2 ?

Great scenery, thanks very much,
would it be possible to adjust the runway/taxiway lighting.
Runway have no touch down zone lights and no centreline lighting.
Runway16 SSALS only
Runway 34 REIL only
Taxiway have to centreline lights.
Also would be great if you do fix the gate for AIG / FSTL

Thanks for the V1.2. update! I was just about to attempt to remove one of the windsocks, when I discovered that you had already taken care of it..

Very nice airport Scenery! thank you very much!
Would you mayby be able to add the published hazard Beacons for the RW34 approach to the scenery?
You can see them here (from Navigpraph charts)

This airport is awesome! Any possibility of also including Nanaimo harbour airport and water runway, where the Harbour Air seaplanes take off and land at?

You have created a beautiful addition to our sim. Thank you very much.
Most of our pilots that fly to Nanaimo would also fly into Victoria - CYYJ. That airport really needs some serious TLC! Please consider Victoria as a future project.

Roman Design is working on CYYJ, albeit, it will be a payware airport. But Roman Design's work is top notch, he did Ottawa International Airport, Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport, and more payware Canadian airports for MSFS.
If you live in Victoria, Roman Design is looking for some photos to do CYYJ and also the seaplane terminals/docks in Victoria. Feel free to help him out. You can see his post at https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/621165-what-canadian-airport-should-i-do-next/?do=findComment&comment=4805553 (you can make an Avsim account and contact him).

Love Love Love this…. Thank you so much, I live near here and am thinking of taking up flying lessons from this airport. 😊. 😊. 😊. CYCD is the best little airport in Canada. IMHO.
EDIT: Forgot to add the stars. 😊.
PS. I just noticed you put in Arbutus RV’s shop…. AMAZING!!!! More please. 😊.

Way too many static aircraft. Particularly in the Vital Aviation and FedEx ramps, there's nowhere to park at the end of a flight. I tried messaging the creator with no reply...
