    WINWING PAP3 | iFly 737 MAX 8 | MobiFlight Profile - Image 1

    Description

Extending upon the excellent work done by SirTakis92 on iFly 737 MAX - WinWing PAP3 - Mobiflight Profile. I've made some updates for my personal preferences and sharing for any users who are interested. Changes include:

    • Renaming of configurations.
    • Sort the configurations from left to right.
    • Include all available output configurations in the project, even if they may not be enabled.
    • Enhanced support for MSFS SimVars and iFly LVARs.
    • A/T ARM setup:
      • Settings are defaulted for the Standard Version. Flip up spring down to turn ARM ON. Flip up spring down again to turn ARM OFF.
      • Magnetic Version:
        • Switch the active Input Config for A/T ARM SWITCH OFF.
        • Additional instructions from flyingfox666From the list of the output parameters I duplicated the output "A/T ARM LIGHT" and renamed it "A/T MAG SWITCH". I then edited it by selecting the "Display" tab and then there changed the "Selected pins" to "Solenoid".

Using the optional Add Lvar for iFly 737 Max8 by FLYINGTOMO will enable:

    • Speed Value and Mach Value work properly.
    • Bank Angle Limit switch works.
    • VS Value (50 ft increments instead of 100 ft).

Thanks for this, wanted to note that it's not working with new iFly updated variants other than the 178 pax version, hopefully that's something you can update?

For use with the magnetic switch, Add Output Config,
    Sim Variable:
    select Preset
    A/T ARM LIGHT
    Display:
    use type of: LED/output.
In the Display settings, select Solenoid.
Name it A/T Mag Solenoid and place it below A/T.
    save.

Hello, For me COURSE Displays are not working, they are showing 000 all time, even tough the value is changing in the sim. Any solution?

I was using FSUIPC offsets to get the Course values. If you do not use FSUIPC, you can try to change the Output Value to reference the LVARs from Add Lvar.

    Thank you for sharing!
One question: I just received my 737 PAP3 with the MAG switch for A/T.
Is it right that the Winwing SimAppPro needs to be running in the background to make the MAG switch work? Or have I overlooked something very obvious?

I don't have a Magnetic switch so I can't test. There maybe an additional mapping in MobiFlight that may be needed.

Thanks for your reply. I will have to ask this question in the Discord of Mobiflight then. Sorry for my late reply, I was away from home until today.

    Solved for the MAG switch!
From the list of the output parameters I duplicated the output "A/T ARM LIGHT" and renamed it "A/T MAG SWITCH". I then edited it by selecting the "Display" tab and then there changed the "Selected pins" to "Solenoid".
    That's it!

Ever since the last update the speed display no longer shows with the Add LVAR app. Do you possibly have the previous version still available?

For the speeds, make sure the application is running while you fly the plane.

I don't have the Magnetic Version to try so you will need to make some adjustments to the switch configuration.

Thanks for all the reports about the faulty speed values! Sorry I was not able to address these sooner. I have also simplified the A/T ARM settings and have an Input Config that should work for the Magnetic Version.
