    Description

    Bantry Airfield is a small and privately owned airfield approx 1.5 NM west south-west of Bantry in County Cork, Ireland.

    While by no means perfect here is my take on the little Bantry airfield in the west of Ireland that is missing in MSFS 2020.
    I hope you enjoy it

    1.0.1 - Airfield Radio Fix
    Changed the airfield coms from tower to the more realistic radio.

    1.0.2 - Texture blending

    Improved the texture blendig post Worldupdate III as the original texture has been replaced by a low res one.

    Gosh! Was just checking out the Irish countryside around Baltimore because I'd played CK3's Tales of Ireland mod in this area. Saw on Skyvector there should be an airport off to the north. Came up, and you know coming up from the *south* there's not a sliver of a hope to spot it. Eventually landed, chuffed to bits, and found it's bloody available here on Flightsim.to! Ofc had to install it so that I might take off again, and gosh it's a cutie. Thanks a lot for making it! If I might submit a request, it's to better depict the forested hills. Should all other options fail, I know the new heightmap paint function for rectangles makes it possible to do that by hand.

    This is fantastic! I wonder would you be able to do something with Reenroe airstrip in Ballinskelligs Bay in Kerry, I vaguely remember seeing some Cessna planes there when I was younger. It's long gone now, but would be lovely to fly in there

    No, not really. If you copy it into the community folder it should show up.
    Saying that, MS messed up the Textures in the latest update, working on a patch for that. not sure if that could be related.
