Description

Thanks to the amazing work of the Mobiflight Community the WinWing FCU can now be used with Mobiflight instead of the Sim App Pro. This mean we can Mobiflight to also make the FCU work with other Airplanes, that are not suppored by Winwing itself.

I used this opportunity and created this profile, which makes the WinWing FCU compatible with the PMDG 737 NG Series for the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Please be aware, that currently this profile is only compatible with the beta version of Mobiflight, since the Winwing support is not yet available in the stable version.

Besided MobiFlight this profile also requires a registered version of FSUIPC to fully function, since otherwise the displayed vertical speed can only be a positive value on the FCU. You need to also include these lines in the 737_options.ini to get the plane to broadcast the required data to FSUIPC:

EnableDataBroadcast=1

This file can be found in a different place, depending on which version of the sim you are using:

Store/Gamepass Version: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.F lightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\pmdg-aircraft-737\work
Steam Version : C:\Users\\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\pmdg-aircraft-737

If you do not want to use FSUIPC I also included a config line that will work without. Be aware that only one the two MUST be active at once!

Just an update. Seeing in the forums that this is a recent Mobiflight coding change (not a PMDG issue).

The profile will need to be revised to account for the new conditional logic.

Something happen with the last PMDG update, and SPD/MACH display now shows a speed value but with a decimal point as if it was MACH.

Believe the profile needs a patch.

Otherwise all else works great.

For some reason the speed, heading, and altitude knobs started skipping the number +3, for example if the speed is 100 and I turn the speed knob once it goes to 103, 106, 109 ... etc
I am almost certain its something on my end but it was working fine before.

Anyone else having this problem? I looked at mobi flight and did not find anything unusual in the conf.

Small correction: The backlight should be mapped to "Bl Main Ca", not "Bl Pedestal".

This config has two refs to things that aren't in the same file, and so Mobiflight complains that the precondition configs are missing. Any ideas on a fix?

Since I haven't update my FCU I can't reproduce that unfortunately. Might be also an incompability with Mobiflight after the update.

Can you fix one thing?

When I "Pull Speed" on the FCU its selecting the "SPEED" button on the MCP, wouldn't it make more sense for "Push Speed" to select Speed Intervention on the FCU? Thanks for your hard work.
